Casa Terracota is situated on a hill in the historic center of the city of Silves, where the castle and parish church are part of the Moorish surroundings. Overlooking the city to the south is the Arab River with two bridges, one of which is medieval and also of tourist interest, once navigable when Silves was the capital of the Algarve (Xelb).
The Terracotta house consists of a majestic living room with television, a dining room with fireplace, a bathroom, a spacious kitchen with a fully equipped dining table, a laundry room and a backyard with a pleasant jacuzzi and barcebue on the first floor. The second floor consists of a bathroom, three bedrooms with balconies, one of which overlooks the city. With the Arab smell still present in the city's narrow streets, it offers parking in the surrounding area. Faro airport is 58km away, the train station is 2km away, and the beaches of Armação de Pêra, Carvoeiro and Ferragudo are approximately 15km away. As a gastronomic reference, the Artaska restaurant/bar is one of the most emblematic in the city, from its architecture to its varied meals and tastings. An excellent wine cellar is well equipped with selected wines from the best wine regions in our country. Casa Terracota is a house of welcome, elegance and naturalness. I wish you all a wonderful stay!
