The hotel is beautiful .. everything you want from a hotel. Staff so friendly ! No bar at the restaurant from 3pm but there is a supermarket very close. Location great. Short walk down hill to a gorgeous beach. Sand and sea amazing. (I’d say best on the island). Took a tour with a local which was fab. If you want to go to Maho beach to see the planes land be there around 230pm (obv flight times change) Lots of restaurants and bars near the beach that are all reasonably priced. Would def come

Our stay at La Vista Hotel was very nice. There was a cute restaurant that was part of the (The Hideaway) and the staff there were really sweet and welcoming. There was also a pool with lounge chairs and it overlooked the beach. The room we stayed in was cute with a comfortable bed. It also had a nice kitchenette where we were able to make snacks for the road. The bathroom was a bit small with a tiny shower, but it more than served its purpose. We really liked the proximity to other restaurants, supermarkets, and public transportation in Simpson Bay. We were able to catch the dollar vans to the beaches (Maho, Mullet Bay) as well as Philipsburg, which made our ability to travel around the island more accessible. I would definitely stay at La Vista Hotel again and would recommend it to others.

First time visiting SXM and it did not disappoint! La Vista was beautiful. Our room was on the upper level and we had an amazing view of the bay. We spent our time at the lower pool by the beach. Great sunsets. The location was excellent, we walked most places and took the bus when needed. Highly recommend staying here!
