「This historic cabin is one of the best rentals ever. Agility is needed for the stairs to the second floor, but the stairs were easily managed by us -- who are people of a certain age. The bucolic setting makes this place a welcome respite from the fast-paced life beyond the gates.」

「It was a great time we had a 15 guys from different states all meet up there to have a calm and relaxing bachelor party. We never had to leave there was so much to do at the house fishing, corn hole , ping pong and arcades! All the guys kept saying how wonderful the place was and they all have awesome memory’s from this house! It really made for a perfect weekend」

「Captain's Cabin was the perfect place to stay for our three day Burbon Trail experience. The location is central and the cabin is very well equipped. It is also decorated with historical period pieces that take you back in time. The back porch is nice for an evening of playing cards and enjoying a bottle of wine. Tammy and Jan were most wonderful hosts. Tammy makes a delicious breakfast to begin your day too! I have already shared this spot with my family and friends for their future rentals.」

「Great property, nice location, well appointed. It is close to the interstate and with the leaves off, truck traffic could be heard from the top floor master bed. We would stay here again.」

「A fun and well kept spot! Plenty of room for activities. Would stay again if I came back into town.」

「Overall a very nice place for the weekend. The outdoor area was a plus. The home was a little smaller than the pictures seemed, but that did not effect our enjoyment of the place.」

「Cabin was very welcoming. Very clean inside which is great! Except the front door was very dirty. Could be washed or repainted. Over all would most definitely stay again there. Very quiet and beautiful! Thanks for a wonderful night stay!」

「The home was so clean! Very nicely decorated with the bourbon theme. Amenities were great. Well done owners!!!」

「Place was perfect for our stay. Great location. Clean and well equipped cabin. Very comfortable! We had an issue with our travel schedule and host was great to work with. Very responsive. Would absolutely stay here again!」

「This house was exactly as described and is a perfect place to entertain large groups. The host is extremely friendly and prompt in communication.」
