The woman who owns it grew up there and has so many fascinating stories to share about the house. Although it’s down a narrow gravel road, it’s easily accessible by car, Uber, and even Uber eats if you decide to order in. On the day we were without a car, were able to walk to the main road where there is a bus service to a lot of the sites in Sintra—though it was hard to leave the……

“We loved the property! It was very close to everything: up the steps to Old Town Sintra and walkable to all of the sites. One night, a scrap of food was left on the table, and there were many ants the next morning. They seemed to be from the hallway baseboard, so be sure to put any open food in the refrigerator. Staff was informative and helpful. Overall, a great stay! ”

“Awesome location. A bit of a walk from downtown Sintra but it had a big public parking lot right next door. We parked the car and walked downtown and to all of the castles. The room was extremely small but it was all we needed. Try "pasta de nata" frim the coffee shop next door......amazing!”
