“Beautiful Arts and Crafts Rustic Style lodge in the pines. Room had everything you could want, double soaking tub, king bed, fireplace, patio, generous sized room with a view of the pines. With the room was complimentary Fitness Center, wonderful continental breakfast showcasing local coffee and foods. Bicycle for us to ride for free. Wine and beer evening reception also included. “Eagle Crest is a great place for amenities outside of staying at the hotel. The staff were great, but our room felt like it was step back in time. The bed frame had rips, there was a build up of dust on the bathroom fan and on the wall and it just felt outdated compared to the rest of the resort. ”

“Lesson learned. Booked a 2 night stay for 4 of us. We checked in and although I booked a 4 bed private room they set us up in a 3 bed room. Our 4th person ended up not being able to make it so that worked out. But we did pay for the larger room despite not receiving one. In addition the whole house was completely trashed, fridge full to the brim with items and a rancid stench. We couldn’t use any of the communal space at all and we’re pretty much ostracized to our room only. I assume because……
