Japanese Tea House

Nestled in the rolling hills of the Kent countryside, a Japanese tea house sits in perfect harmony with its natural surroundings, offering a tranquil retreat from the modern world. This elegant wooden structure, inspired by traditional Sukiya-zukuri architecture, is carefully positioned to frame panoramic views of lush meadows, ancient woodlands, and gently flowing streams.

Approached by a winding stone path lined with moss-covered rocks and delicate cherry blossom trees, the tea house is a sanctuary of simplicity and serenity. Its thatched roof and sliding shoji doors open to reveal a minimalist interior, where tatami mats, low wooden tables, and delicate washi paper lanterns create an atmosphere of quiet contemplation.

Outside, a perfectly raked Zen garden with sculpted bonsai trees and a koi-filled pond adds to the sense of peace, while the distant sound of birdsong and rustling leaves enhances the immersive experience. The scent of freshly brewed matcha drifts through the air as guests participate in an authentic tea ceremony, led by a kimono-clad host who moves with graceful precision.

The rooms and bedding’s were not clean and I asked for my money back, it was point blank refused, they also left a used bottle of water for me, also, there were unused in the fridge that were smelling.
