"We really enjoyed our stay. After a hot day at an outdoor event nearby, we were so relieved to discover how nice and comfortable this hotel was. My 10 month old loved walking around our room and it was spacious enough for the three of us to all relax in. I think my daughter enjoyed her first hotel stay even more than my husband and I. The bed & pillows were very comfortable and there was great water pressure for showers. I liked how the lobby, bar, and dining area were set up in the front of the hotel. We were too tired from the day to check out the pool, hot tub, and sauna. The staff were working so hard and still so nice during our stay. I would definitely come back."

"This is a beautiful historic property. The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby area is beautiful and makes a great first impression when you arrive. It would be good if you could get a hot drink in the lobby area after 11:00am, but I am just being picky. On the whole the hotel was lovely. Unfortunately there are a lot of homeless people on the streets around the hotel some of whom seemed agitated and were shouting at us. My daughter and I did not always feel safe walking around, which was a shame as Portland seems like a beautiful city."
