Enjoy this peaceful cottage with a park like setting on the Rifle River. Take in beautiful views of the river and wildlife.

We have several kayaks that guests can use to enjoy a relaxing trip down the river or one of the several lakes nearby.

There are two fire pits, a larger one by the river and one next to the house with firewood provided for your use.

The house is beautiful furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen. There are two comfortable queen beds and twin bunk bends with plenty of room for all to enjoy.

We all loved our stay, such a beautiful home and amazing property right on the river. Our dog couldn't get enough of playing in the river and we enjoyed floating in tubes from Rifle River park on Greenwood right back to the house in about an hour. Such a great place to vacation!

Great Clean Home

This is a fantastic property with the river just steps away in the backyard. We loved being able to swim and relax right at home. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently close to a small grocery store and Dollar General

Perfect week!

We try to get this place every summer for 3 or 4 nights just to kick back and unwind. It never disappoints! Its a great stay. The beds are clean and comfortable the house in its self is very clean outside activities are for the whole family and very enjoyable! This is my go to, to get away from!

Birthday weekend

We picked this lovely home on the Rifle river for a surprise birthday weekend for our Mom. She was surprised and we were delighted with the coziness of the house, warmth of the campfires(thanks for the wood!) and the sharing of love and laughter. We would definitely rent again and recommend for a getaway. Thanks again Kellie!

Great trip!

My family of 6 adults had a wonderful time. The river was gorgeous and refreshing. The couch is SO comfortable. Had some great bonfires. we would definitely return. The hill down to the river is a little steep. My grandma had a little difficulty navigating it, but not impossible!

Peaceful getaway

We enjoyed our stay, the house was nice and cozy. We loved the big comfy couch and the fire pit just outside the house next to a porch swing that was perfect for the evenings. It was nice to watch the birds and deer just outside the back window overlooking the river. I really liked that it was very private on a private street and woods on one side of you. I will say make sure to pack everything you need they have no tin foil. plastic wrap, cooking spray, oil, or basic seasonings in the kitchen. If you stay here I would suggest doing the River Road Scenic byway drive, it was beautiful!!!

Quiet getaway. Very clean. Highly recommend!

This home was cozy, clean and very welcoming having just about everything you might need! We enjoyed the open layout of the kitchen, dining and living room. Very pet-friendly with a small outdoor fenced in area and a long leash off the back deck. The beds and couch were all comfortable. There was plenty of firewood with two fire pits and picnic tables; one of each up by the house and one of each down by the river. There is a hill with spaced out stairs and another trail to get to the river. There is not a wide space to wade into the river. You can get in and get the kayaks in and out but there is a bit of a drop down to actually get to the water. There is a water purifier installed in the kitchen and I was happy that the mineral smell was not as intense as other cabins I’ve stayed in. We did bring our own water to drink and cook with. The owners were prompt in responding to any questions. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home, very clean, nicely appointed. Lot is large and private (except for kayakers and tubers on Saturday, which is fun and welcome). We have stayed here twice and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

What a beautiful, quiet getaway! Great place for young families. The river is shallow enough for even little kiddos to touch the bottom and the current is slow enough you don't have to worry about elementary ages playing and exploring all day. Hosts are responsive and kind. I definitely see why so many people come back, year after year.

River Retreat

This was our second time staying here. It has all of the comforts of home. Our fur baby really enjoys the river. We did see some squirrels and a couple rabbits along with some chipmunks. The highlights as far as wildlife were the eagle that flew over the river and the muskrat that came up on the bank and filled up on the grass. We had a great time and would visit again.

July 4th family trip

I absolutely loved my stay here. It was quiet, peaceful, the river was beautiful. The house was clean, comfortable and a very homey feeling. I 100% plan to come back again. I would say to anyone with small kids and animals to be careful at night, there was a pack of coyotes running around nearby.

Another Perfect Stay!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful property in just six months—and once again, it did not disappoint! The setting along the Rifle River is absolutely peaceful, quiet, and stunning—exactly the kind of getaway we were looking for. The place is spotless and incredibly well-kept, with everything you need for a relaxing stay.What truly sets this VRBO apart, though, are the hosts. They are hands-down the best we've ever had—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. Third Time is a Charm!

We just love this home more each time we stay! So comfortable and relaxing. The 'feel like' temperature outside was '14' but the home was warm and cozy. We watched the wildlife attracted to the bird feeder as well as the flowing river. Everything imaginable to prepare and cook a large meal.Thanks for renting to us.
