「Amazing, lovely staff who were so kind and looked after us all week - we enjoyed lots of the restaurants around the hotel, but the hotel's own bar and restaurant were the best for both dinner and breakfast! Very convenient placement being right next to the beach and a nice resort area outside of hereklion, but hereklion itself felt mildly unsafe and had lots of issues with restaurants in the city centre - could not fault the hotel themselves for anything! 「Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar und das Frühstück war sehr gut. Allerdings war unser Zimmer leider nicht 100 % sauber. Der Spiegel war verdreckt und die Hinterlassenschaften der vorherigen Zimmernutzer hingen noch an der Kloschüssel. Gut wir haben es weggemacht und die Brille desinfiziert. Trotzdem können wir das Hotel empfehlen.」

「It was a great hotel. A great spot to be at if you wanted to explore the island. Front desk we very helpful. Down by the seaside which is literally a 2 minute walk has some great restaurants. Bravo was our favorite. The bartender, Chris made some great drinks. 」

Relaxing Family Stay with Great Views

"We had a great stay at Creta Maris Resort. The all inclusive setup makes it super relaxing – you don’t have to think about anything and can fully unwind. Most staff were friendly and helpful, except for one or two at Enomy Restaurant whose English made communication tricky, and the luggage staff who seemed a bit indifferent. Food-wise, I recommend booking the à la carte restaurants. Buffets offer variety but are average in quality. Enomy has more choices than Estia. We tried Alatsi – excellent service, amazing sea view, food slightly salty, but the crème brûlée was a highlight. Desserts overall are large and satisfying. Pool bar snacks weren’t great, but drinks and cocktails were excellent – perfect for sunny poolside moments. Our room had a partial sea view and the resort is beautiful, with lots of photo spots. There’s a private beach, plenty of pools, and activities you can book easily through their app. I suggest staying at least 3 days. With 4 or 5 nights, you can also explore the town. Overall, it’s not super luxury, but it’s a great fit for families and covers a wide range of needs. Recommended."
