Location is everything
Lovely apartment overlooking the sea with some noise from traffic on the main road and bars along shore. Spacious and clean with plenty of closet space. The apartment has some major maintenance problems and the management company's default position is to be of as little help as possible or ignore you. I asked well in advance if they could leave us water and milk as we were arriving late. There was water in the fridge but no milk. When I queried this I was told 'it's a self catering apartment'. The glass door in the 2nd bedroom was cracked and the mesh screen was hanging off. The A/C in the main bedroom leaked water over the mattress and pillows. This was resolved quickly but I had to move into the third bedroom which had one window which didn't open. Tried to get a key but the management company kept asking for a photo (the photo is on the website)! The A/C in the kitchen didn't work at all. Despite asking in advance for extra sheets (we don't use duvets) none were left but a bundle of linen was sent after a couple of days. Only 3 sheets in the bundle and they refused to send anymore so we had to use the same sheets for 3 weeks. Also, they couldn't provide us with bath towels. The freezer was so iced up the door wouldn't close properly so I had to defrost it before we could use it - bad housekeeping. This luxury apartment doesn't have a frost free fridge. The pool and terraces are nice with plenty of sunbeds but very little sun - the area is in shadow in the afternoon.
