Construction of a building next door made daylight hours in the hotel noisy and unpleasant.
If you plan on spending your days exploring Malta, this hotel may work as it was much more quiet at night.
There were few amenities but the large window facing the water and the lovely sunrises make up for that.

Good stay , the room is not that top but the view is amazing and staff are very friendly and helpful.
Stayed there before so knew where everything was. They didn’t do breakfast which I knew. My room was very small and always single rooms seem to be at the back of hotels in odd little corners. On the plus side the buses are outside the door and there are shops including a supermarket close by. The hotel sits right on the promenade which is really lovely.

Very convenient, lots of restaurants, the bus stand is outside the door. Rooms are functional and reasonably priced. Very good option when travelling on a budget.
The hotel is in a nice location as it has a sea view. The price per night was ok (one of the lowest ones in the area, so you need to accept some inconveniences that come with that). The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is cleaned daily. The staff is doing what they can, but they have limited resources, so they can be as good as resources allow them. The bus stop is in front of the hotel so you can plan you sightseeing starting from there. It is a plus! However, there are some minuses as well, out of which the most unpleasant for me were: the balcony window is not soundproof at all even if fully closed. There is a main road between hotel and the promenade, and you can hear all the cars passing by, also people walking next to the hotel and talking loudly. It is difficult to fall asleep. Also, the hotel amenities are very dated. Although as mentioned below, the staff is doing what they can to keep this place running, they cannot do much about dated bathroom or "worn-out" beds/furniture in the room. The other thing is that although it is stated at the reception and in the elevator that hotel is 100% no-smoking area, you can clearly smell cigarettes in the corridor. What is worse, if you have a balcony open, that terrible smell goes into your room, as guests smoke on their balconies. On average, the hotel is ok only if you plan to sleep there for couple of hours and spend the rest of your time outside. There is no point or pleasure to stay indoors of this hotel.
The best room view in Sliema! We were lucky to get a room on the 7th floor with majestic view on the sea. The staff were very friendly, they let us check in around midnight and to pay a half day fee for a late check out that it really mattered to us. Thank you for your hospitality!
Only improvement might be a small fridge in the room and a mosquito nest at the balcony door.
This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Our room looked like a prison cell and the floor was super dirty as well. We tried to stay outside for most of the day to not get back in there. On checkout day i also forgot my necklace on the bathroom counter and after calling several times they still claimed they haven‘t found it. The cleaning stuff threw it away or stole it. Wouldn‘t recommend anyone staying here if you don‘t want to get your stuff stolen or sleep in a dirty place!

Short but great
Close to everything magnificent view and easy to reach the center of Sliema. Had some difficulties with the AC but the staff was very service minded and helpful so everything resolved easy.
We arrived quite unexpectedly and were treated with politeness and kindness. The hotel was very busy but we were given two balcony rooms instead of a shared room for our family of 4 that we had booked. We would highly recommend them to everyone!
Did not stay there as they did not have amenities as stated

Staff were friendly and nice but air conditioner no working at all time that we stay there, I told to manager and reception, Hotel maintenance checked that but didn't do that anything.
In the night the room was cold.
Our experience was terribile. No electricity for One night and One day at 40 degrees heat. No AC or fan. Lift not working and go up stairs for Six floors with luggage
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
The Sielma Chalet is good in terms of location, close to St Julian’s by bus and cab. Also close to other amenities and food outlets.
The hotel is very basic and few things in our room were broken such as the toilet lid which they did fix and it broke again. The water pressure, the back door. They did fix the broken light. It is good if you just need a base to rest your head and have an idea of things you’d like to do already. They do not have many facilities but there are paid beach clubs around for €15-30.
Overall, the best part is how close it is to the airport and other things in Malta but if you are looking for luxury then it isn’t here as the place is far from modern. Lucky we had a sea view room, this was good. We saw the non sea view room and it looked very glum.
