We absolutely loved our stay at Smiggins Hotel- the staff are so kind and friendly, the location couldn’t be better, the rooms are beautiful and warm and the food is absolutely sensational. What a wonderful family holiday! My kids said it was the best trip ever and cannot wait to return. Thanks Belinda and team for the wonderful hospitality.

Bistro and breakfast food was not up to standard, buffet was not self serve. Small sizes and spaghetti bowl had no sauce, large size was small. Snitzel at dinner was cold. Rest of trip was great and coffee was good too.

Thanks so much to the friendly staff at Smiggins Hotel. We stayed in a chalet with our little boy, which was a short stroll to the main building. Everything was spotless and the staff were welcoming, helpful and generally just appeared happy to be there. There wasn't much snow, but we made the most of it and had a great weekend. Thanks everyone! :D

Smiggins on snow
This was a great hotel, you can ski straight out of the hotel and back at the end of a full day exploring the resort. I loved coming back to the guest lounge, there were comfy sofas, a fire place and great cocktails!

Hotel right on the snow which made it very easy to get the kids out onto the ski fields. Being this close to the snow, allowed the kids to have an afternoon rest before they headed out again for the day. Caters to Children with kids club both during the day and evening.

Great hotel for the "on Snow" experience.
Fabulous long weekend for a family of four. The room we had was very small, but for a last minute booking we were well accommodated.

Great location, convenient, friendly staff. Rooms sound proofing is POOR. Noise from above and next door was to such a level that we were woken multiple times by people walking and talking. May as well have been in the room with us.

Very disappointing at check in, was asked to pay additional $360 on top for our 3 night stay as I had two kids 6 & 8, and I booked room for two adults only, we travel regularly and normally our kids sleep with us, was confusing as lastminute site when booking room did say will accommodate up to two kids. Room was large with a double bed with two singles as well, has a stove and small fridge. Room was very dated, only an oil heater to heat room, bathroom was like stepping back in time, sliding door shower screen, mosaic floor tiles, basic tiles. We paid $300 per night initially but then were asked to pay an additional $120, so $420 per night is very ridiculous for this room, considering all we wanted to see and play with snow with the kids and we struggled to see this. There was ice which was made there for the skier or boarder. More suited for the young adult skier or snow boarder. Basic breakfast which included cereal, juice, eggs, bacon, tomato, hash brown was $72 for the four of us for the day. Not suited for families unless you smuggle your young children into room and cook your own food. Very over priced for what you get, luckily we were only there for 3 nights, many of our friends warned us to of how expensive it could be and we would be better off going to New Zealand to see snow. I think next time we decide to see snow I believe we will be taking our friends advice.

We do appreciate all feedback from our guests, so thank you for providing us with your feedback from your stay with us this season. As most of our guests are return visitors your disappointing experience is most unusual. It is also unusual for guests to arrive with extra guests than have been actually booked for the room. We did give your a 50% discount on these extra guests. Once again, we are sorry that your did not enjoy the Chalet Apartments.

A holiday worth having !!,
fabulous the whole hotel was neat clean ,had a lovely scent through out.The staff couldn't do enough for us extremely friendly and the staff are like family. We felt so at home there and most of all I didn't feel it was over priced . The meals were fantastic. We booked for next year on our way out .
