El Cortez Hotel and Casino - 21 and Over
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel room was very nice and clean and very quiet, e erything was fine about the Hotel.
Gaming there was goid but dont expect to get any beverages from the cocktail servers, mist were goid two of them were rubbish, took over an hour to even apoearand one wouldnt take my order because she said i had to bet at least .40 cents and i was betting over $1.00 a hand on video keno so of course i had to wait another hour just to get a beverage from her and she was very rude i told her get a slot manager and we can go to the players card desk and they can check my gaming and prove how much i was betting, so i received 1 beverage in 5 hours of gaming. The next night it was the same person, and i received the same crap service from her but i did receive a few more beverages. I have always loved this Hotel but next time i think i will try to find a friendlier place to stay"
"Great place to stay if you go alone. I enjoyed room and security keeping customers from going to the rooms. Pool was great when walking around Fremont. "
"Great site.. easy check in and bar had good prices casino was clean and bettin was on the cheap side.. ONLY issue is that all tables are closed after about 1:30 :/"
"It was a good experience being in the same building and being able to go upstairs and watch the sporting events on television was great. I recommend that people come and check it out."
"If you are looking for a cookie cutter, boring, typical hotel don't come here. You need to appreciate the history and renovation of this unique place. So much character has been maintained in the updates. The rooftop pool is awesome (sadly closes at 6). The staff are all very kind and hospitable. The BBQ from Benny's is great.
Yes, you can hear the Fremont Street Experience, but it's not obnoxious and part of thr ambience."
"I've stayed here before and I always love it! This time i stayed in the northern townert facing Fremont street. You can obviously hear the music from that but it's muffled. Our room got a slight view of Fremont which was pretty cool. "
