「We have learned to be wary of exterior access motels, so when this one had a 9.4 rating on Expedia, we were skeptical. It turned out to be absolutely worth the great score. Sparkling clean, spacious, with plenty of counter space and outlets and all-new furniture and fixtures, it exceeded our expectations. 「This place really needs to do some serious maintenance and repairs. The first thing I noticed was the missing smoke detector. I found it and the batteries on a shelf above the clothes rack. The lady in the office told me she had to take it down because it was beeping due to low batteries. Two AA batteries should not be too hard to find. This would seem to be a serious safety issue.
