"Wonderful little lakefront cottage getaway. As soon as you walk through the front door you are welcomed with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The dock is in great condition, perfect for fishing off of. Everything was as expected, and more. "

"This is 99.9% exactly how described. Your water view is slightly obstructed due to trees on the shore that the owner isn’t allowed to do anything about. Very charming and cute. Clean and comfortable. Very compact and efficient. I only have one suggestion, and that is to put a door covering on the only door in and out of the place. It’s a wonderful view and natural light. However, if the other side of the duplex is rented, and they are using the shared sitting area around the fireplace, they can see directly into the other unit. I mentioned this to the owner, and they were quick to reply with their reasoning, and that they would look into it. The bathroom has a barn style sliding door. Needs to be stopped at just the right place to block any view of the inside. We have no complaints. We would rent again!"

"A better host we have not found in our frequent VRBO stays. They were quick to respond to questions and the property was the perfect stay. The house was very clean, the layout ideal, and the views beautiful. We truly appreciated the ease this property offered for my mother-in law who has mobility issues. The gentle slope to the dock allowed her to use a walker to make her way safely. The main floor layout was perfect for our family with everything we needed on that level. We loved gazing at the many deer that frequented the property. A very small recommendation would be to allow some free cupboard space for renters to place their food items in off the countertop, but this is such a minimal concern. We would definitely return to the property and we thank the kind hosts for opening their home up to our family. "

"We had a wonderful peaceful stay. Kids and dog loved it. Deck felt very safe to let my kids enjoy the outdoor view without worrying they’d fall off, need close supervision on steps down to and on the dock. Kitchen had plenty of basics for preparing easy meals if desired, however no filtered water so definitely bring that; the tap is a bit sulfur-smelling and wouldn’t be great for large consumption. House was comfortable- comfy couches and beds and a nice big TV. We found the location very convenient for most things, about 15 minutes to SML state park and 15-20 minutes to most other things. We’ll definitely come back! The view is the best!!"

"We had family staying for a wedding. The front door key was difficult to unlock the front door. Also, it would be nice to have a "pod" type coffee maker in the kitchen. There was a damaged corner dry wall molding on the first-floor hallway. And the carpet could use a cleaning throughout the house. Otherwise, the house was perfect for our stay."

"Beautiful home & location nice dock to Fish and tie off boat pool a little cold but weather cooler hot tube great grill works well plenty of room to gather or have private times well stocked kitchen"

"Cute place. It’s half of a duplex. Furnishings are nice. Bath is small but nice. No counter space tho. Bathroom door is a barn door style…little privacy. Kitchen has everything you need but there are no cabinets…just shelves. Dishes and glasses were in a basket. Not what you might expect. Keurig coffee maker…brought my own pods luckily TV and WiFi work great. Didn’t use the hot tub…its placement just outside of the entryway is odd, but makes a little more sense when you see it. My only significant concern was that the mini blinds that were on the glass entry door were missing (broken?)…had to hang a towel over the door glass to get some privacy. The owner was super nice…so sorry for their recent loss. "
