"The location and the view were amazing! Such an abundance of wildlife! Deer, heard a fox, and the birds! Heron, ducks, geese, bluebirds, eagles- and as we were leaving found the eagle nest, next to the house as they came screeching in. Beautiful dark sky for star gazing. The house is good, beds comfy, had all the amenities and supplies. Struggled a bit with the wall heaters ended up using the portable heaters. It was a cold weekend. I agree with the other reviewer that it could use a deep clean, especially floors, corners, baseboards. The deck is a bit wonky, need to be careful with footing. But you cannot beat the location! Would love to visit in the warmer months!"

"The room was never cleaned. There was fecal matter on the toilet. And live and dead roaches on the floor, shower and refrigerator. I went immediately to office to complain and ask for another room. Per A Richard Patel ( female ) she told me they were booked and she can come and clean the room later. I told her if that is your way of cleaning no thanks, so she gave me a bunch of cleaning products and I cleaned myself. Slept with lights on because of the roaches and left the next morning. Got in touch with Expedia and complained. But I was not granted a refund. "

"Hideaway at Hayes Beach was amazing It was a wonderful place to spend Christmas with our family. We were lucky enough to get snow! My husband and I enjoy walking so it was a prefect place to for it. Would definitely recommend this place"

"Waking up to the rising sun on the Bay was spectacular. So peaceful and rejuvenating. Make sure you checkout out Calvert Cliffs State Park too. You’ll get a workout on the multiple trails and a beautiful shoreline at the end to find some natural treasures!! Sunshine Cottage was well equipped and clean as a whistle. Beds were amazingly comfortable too. Hosts Rhett and Kay couldn’t be more responsive to inquiries. Overall great experience and would recommend for a lovely getaway. Thank you!! Sallie "

"This is our family’s second year enjoying the property. Daytime and nighttime fishing, fire pit, hot tub and the pool room were enjoyed by everybody. Peaceful and Private this is a perfect location for our family getaways. Thanks for sharing your home! "
