「The ocean views were stunning. It is a beautiful location, very quiet at the top of a hill overlooking Brookings OR and the Pacific Ocean including some local “haystacks”. Although it’s not a full kitchen we were able to cook breakfast, which is important to us. The owners were easy to communicate with, entering the property was easy. The bed was the most comfortable mattress we have had on our travels. Wonderful location.」

「The place was dated but had charm. It wasn’t very clean… the common areas or the room…. the mattress cover hadn’t been washed clearly bc it had surface stains and under the beds were dirty. Mattresses were old so they were uncomfortable.. The construction supplies were blocking handicap parking too…」

「The fact that this is one of the few properties located on the beach is the reason we chose it. It wound up that we didn’t spend much time at the beach, and the property is pretty worn, so I’m not sure it was worth it. The staff were super accommodating. They have a coffee room where they provide fruit and oatmeal, and there were some snacks available in the office, but I wish they had more of a breakfast.」

「The front desk was available both in person and virtually. Very convenient. Everyone was super polite and helpful. The room was clean and had a great view of the ocean. The free wifi was a plus in this day and age.」

「The motel was clean, it was nice parking right in front of the room. It was spacious, although the shower was a little tight. The towels were very thin. The check in was smooth, but if you needed something it was harder to find someone to help you. It was a cute, retro motel, and the history of it was fun, especially since we were there to visit the redwoods. I gave it 4 stars because the beds weren't very comfortable. Other than that, it's great for a one night stay」

「Nicely maintained old school motel! Bed was comfy with nice pillows. It was nice to receive an actual key to the room, a very nice vintage touch! A great choice for your overnight stay!」
