Thank you for the great place to stay. I think you need to replace the matresses on the beds, they were a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, we had a great time.

Great secluded family cabin ~

If you're looking to get away from the "hustle & bustle", this is a great cabin. The property is secluded and relaxing! We enjoyed are stay and hope to return.

End of year getaway

My wife I & booked this cabin for a much needed break from a busy year. The property was very nice and we enjoyed taking time to walk some of the paths in the surrounding wooded areas. The wood burning fireplace was perfect to take away the chill. We enjoyed a wonderfully restful time!

Smithville Retreat

The cabin was nicely equipped. It was a little smaller in person than what the pictures portray, but still very nice. The large covered patio was great to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. The grass was kinda high. Would have been nice if it had been mowed for our dogs. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There is a Dollar General minutes away. Great for those last minute items your forget.

Perfect for city folks

If you’re from a city this is the perfect type of seclusion (it’s secluded, but you still hear the sounds of the cars/trucks from the main road, and there is a sole neighbor that isn’t highly visible - but you have peace of mind you aren’t completely alone in the middle of nowhere). The stars were plenty and the campfire was warm. There is a creek off to the side that you can walk to and you feel like you’re “hiking” (it’s not a hiking trail). The cabin was clean, bathrooms nice, beds comfy, the floor to ceiling windows were a nice touch.

Great property, a few changes would have made it a great stay

This was very remote, which was just what we wanted. This did come with some issues, however. No cell phone service on T-Mobile, or AT&T, and internet averaging about 1Mbps. So bring your own video source. The closest fresh food is 45 minutes drive away. Not an issue for us, but could be for some. The actual house is lovely. Perfect for a vacation. Several acres, a creek down a wooded path. Plenty to explore. The house seemed brand new. All the appliances and fixtures were top notch. The owners clearly went out of their way to make this a luxury experience. Sadly a leaking drain in the sink, and no instruction on what to do with our trash, was frustrating and seemed unnecessary. We finally called the booking line to report the trash issue, but the process was cumbersome to report anything, so we left a note for the leaky sink and internet. The hot tub is huge and fantastic. The house has everything you need for a rustic week of cabin life.

Property was as described. Hot tub and fire pit were great. Had issues with code provided to enter not working and dishwasher wasn’t functioning. Cabin was so cute and the finishings are nice and updated. There isn’t a grocery store within about 30 min except the general dollar at the corner. Overall good experience.
