Knot Fade Away - Soundfront Home - Community Pool, Elevator, Short Walk to Beach

You’ll make memories that last forever when you stay at this beautiful soundfront home, “Knot Fade Away.” Located in North Topsail Beach, NC, this home features a private elevator, views of the sound and ocean, walking distance to some local eating establishments, access to the community pool, and a short walk to the community beach access.

Underneath the home, you will find covered parking, a private enclosed outdoor shower to wash off after a day of fun at the beach, and easy accessibility to the home via the private elevator.

The first floor has three bedrooms: a bedroom with a king bed, private bathroom, and private balcony with a couple of hammocks to relax in as you watch the sunset and two bedrooms with queen beds. All three bedrooms have TVs and balcony access. In the hall, you’ll find a shared bathroom, washer and dryer, and elevator access.

Continuing up to the next level is an open and inviting living room, dining area, lounge area, and kitchen perfect for gathering and enjoying each other’s company! Step outside on the decks to enjoy the water view while drinking your morning coffee and maybe do some bird watching.

Head upstairs to the top floor and you’ll find a king bed, twin bunk bed, large bathroom with jetted tub, elevator access, and beautiful ocean and sound views from your own private balconies.

GOLD PACKAGE – Includes ALL bed linens, one bath set with extra bath towel (2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, & 1 wash cloth) per occupancy, 1 kitchen towel set, & bath mats per full bathroom. Complimentary for all 2-night minimum reservations from June 7 to August 16, 2025 and all 7-night minimum reservations in 2025.

If Complimentary Linens are not applicable for your stay, you may bring your own linens, or we offer linens to rent for an additional fee. Please contact us to apply a linen rental to your reservation or upgrade your linen package for a fee, if applicable.

Community Rules: As of July 2021, the Scotch Bonnet HOA no longer allows golf carts or LSV's (low speed vehicles). The HOA has communicated that any tenants who have a golf cart or LSV would be subject to a fine.
Guest Entry: This rental utilizes a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.

BOOKING DETAILS -
Age Requirements: You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. ID verification required prior to check in. House parties will be evicted immediately. Any group renting this property under false pretenses shall be immediately evicted with no refund.
Booking Requirements: 7-night minimum stays & Saturday Check-in/out only All Year
TV Disclosure: Smart TVs require guests to log in with their own accounts to access subscription apps. Access credentials are not provided.

CANCELLATIONS -
Any cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made in writing by Guest. Reservation payments are not reimbursable unless the property can be re-rented for the same rate and time period less non refundable reservation fee, cancellation fee, and third-party fees. Please review our Rental Policies and Cancellation Policy.

CHECK IN DAY DETAILS -
Your rental home allows you to check-in directly at the property. Check-in typically becomes available BETWEEN 4:00 - 6:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. As soon as your rental is ready for check in, we will send you a text message with all of your check-in instructions. Please understand that all homes must be cleaned and inspected before we are allowed to issue access details and you are not allowed to be at the property until you have received that text message.

PREPARING FOR YOUR VACATION -
All our vacation rentals include fully equipped kitchens, basic small appliances (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters), pillows, comforters/bedspreads, television(s) and more! Our vacation homes do not supply consumable items for guest use (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soap, spices, cleaning products, etc.). Please plan accordingly for any items you may need during your stay.

You are welcome to bring your own linens, or we provide a linens rental service for your convenience. Some homes provide complimentary linens for select dates and this detailed information can be found in the description. Linen package options include BRONZE (bed sheets only per bed listed), SILVER (bed sheets per bed listed, a bath towel set per occupancy, dish towel, and a bath mat per shower/tub), and GOLD (all items from the SILVER package plus one extra bath towel per occupancy).

TOPSAIL ISLAND GENERAL INFO-
WiFi: WiFi signal strength is NOT guaranteed at your rental for remote work or remote learning. We are located on a barrier island and do not have cellular towers on the island. This, coupled with the increase of guests in our area, creates an inconsistent cellular signal that is outside of our control and therefore, compensation is NOT given.

Beach Nourishment: Beach nourishment projects help preserve and protect Topsail Island’s shoreline. Most projects are scheduled annually between November and April and may involve large pipes on the beach, trucks moving sand, and other equipment to rebuild and maintain our dunes. Timelines and locations can shift without notice, and we are not always informed in advance. While we understand this may impact your beach experience, refunds or compensation will not be provided for disruptions related to beach nourishment. For the latest updates, we recommend checking the town websites for Topsail Beach, Surf City, or North Topsail Beach. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about potential beach impacts during your stay.

Water Pressure Notice: Please be aware that during popular rental dates, especially in the mornings and evenings, there may be temporary reductions in water pressure. This is a common occurrence across the island as many visitors are getting ready for the day or returning from the beach. We recommend planning showers and other water-related activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience.

Public Parking: The Town of Surf City enforces “Pay to Park” from March 1-Oct 31 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Surf City Public Beach Access Parking Lots and other marked Public Parking Lots. The Town of North Topsail Beach will enforce “Pay to Park” from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM year-round. Onslow County operates three public parking areas/beach accesses within the Town of North Topsail Beach. To the best of our knowledge the county intends to continue operating these lots free of charge.

Leave No Trace: Topsail Island enforces a "Leave No Trace" policy in order to protect our shoreline, meaning you must remove all items, including tents and chairs, from the beach each day. Any items left behind are subject to theft, removal by the town, or possibility of being washed away by the ocean.

Turtle Nesting Season: From May to October, Topsail Island is a nesting ground for sea turtles. Be mindful of marked nests, limit oceanside deck lights, and follow local guidelines to protect them.

We enjoyed everything about this place. We had an awesome time. Everything was clean and perfect for my family of 9. A storm rolled through and did some very minor damage and Access realty was on it asap. The location was perfect with a small walk to the beach. And the pool was a BIG plus.

The house was not very clean especially the rugs in living room, the couches and chairs were very dirty and in desperate need of cleaning. The refrigerator and kitchen smelled like crab meat. The plates and utensils were not clean. The kitchen however was very well stocked with cooking utensils and the location was great. The drive was was a desaster

This rental is in an excellent location. It has a nicw elevator for traveleing with those persons with disabilities. Overlooks the sound for beautiful sunsets. Short walk to the beach. Rental company listing is misleading. Stares 4 pm entry on VRBO hut they sent an email the day(Thursday) before we were leaving (Friday) stating 4 pm - 6 pm nd they let us in at 5:56 pm. We drove around trying to find a place to be for 2 hours waiting for text. This was especially hard on my mother who has ALS and dementia. I told them this should be stated up front . They didnt seem to care at all. Stating that an email was sent 2 days prior on Thursday. I tried explaining that part of our party had already left because we were driving from 3 differe states. Drivewy was an absolute .us pit which is not thwir fault but would benwfit from gracel. Some furnishinga stined, ripped, or in disrepair but worked for our family. Mych I ld foy d vape and dirt in the sofa within the first 5 mins but we just avoided uaing the sofa bed. Linens were delivered as stated. House is stocked with everything necessary for an amazing vcation. Sliding doors stick and the off rhe kitchen wouldnt open like it wa soff track so we avoided that door. Pool is small but perfect temperature. Eveything you vould need for the beach is there. Beds were very comfy. Perfect space for a family getway but could benefit from some mild maintenance.. wmail 2 days b Sta

This property was ideal for our family's beach trip to Topsail. A few comments - The house was as advertised minus a couple of cosmetic issues needing repair during our stay, but these were clearly communicated and we were not inconvenienced by this. Communication from property management was prompt and extremely helpful before and during our stay. Lastly, the location was great and the views were incredible. We especially enjoyed watching the storms come in over the intracoastal. Great property overall!
