Started off rocky as I contacted the number provided 3 times over two weeks as I did not receive a receipt after I paid online and could not access the system they wanted me to in order to do so. I’m kind of tech savvy so was a bit concerned. One response after the third time saying “we have support staff to take care of that” but never heard from anyone. I also wanted to add an extra day (available) so I ended up googling the new sales Dept and was able to finally get some one to help me. Made me a little anxious, esp with 2 reviews online, one wasn’t great. A/C tech was at the house/our unit as we drove by to check in. Another concern. The A/C system, although new, was not user friendly. It was set by the tech (had to call again and they came right out) to 72 upstairs in master, cannot be changed/which is too hot to sleep and ceiling fan did not work. We went out and bought a battery for the remote after 2 hot nights. We too have an electronic/preset scheduled unit at home, was challenged by this one. The place looked beautiful upon entering. Views are stunning and you won’t find a better location. There were cigarette butts around the grill area, just a few, but there, and used matches on middle deck. Yes, duplex neighbors trash was blown into our area as with the last renter’s review. The interior of the kitchen drawers and cabinets need to be cleaned. The master bath drawers were white, but with hair in them/unusable. A 2 inch roach was in the master bedroom the last 2 nights, husband finally killed it. Hate to even mention it but it happened. Only one we saw. The beautiful refrigerator smelled like fish BAD. It was sparkly clean, except for the clearly visible brown fish juice left under the glass which clearly causing the smell, the new box of Arm and Hammer in it wasn’t enough. The nicest man in the world came right out and cleaned it. Unfortunately the ice smelled too so no ice. Yes, this is a “tough” review but all of these things could have easily been taken care of before our arrival. I would give this place one more shot because of the location and prompt service when you do ask for anything. One more thing, I was very surprised that as part of the check out cleaning process renters need to do make all of beds (sleeps 15) before they leave. But give this place a chance, it’s beautiful views are stunning and it’s upgraded interiors are lovely. We had a great time. Love the area.
