Disappointed

Stayed in the bottom half of duplex. Overall its what i expected. However none of the TV remotes worked we had to go buy batteries for them after noone from carolina stays brought some. The bedroom TV was worthless and could'nt be used bc it wasnt set up so we couldn't even watch that tv. Stains of some kind on the kitchen chairs. Only plus is it is very close to the beach access. I dont think i would rent this property again. Carolina stays did let us check out 2 hours late due to the tvs not working. Which was nice but i dont think it made up for the inconvenience

Smelled bad as soon as we entered

First the description was not accurate. They should change the picture for this listing because what you are actually getting is a poorly renovated garage. As soon as we opened the door we were hit with a mildew smell that would not go away. The floors and cabinets were uneven and soft. The beds were uncomfortable and the internet kept going out.

Cute little place for a stay at the beach, veru close to the beach, we love having a stocked kitchen to be able to prepare meals in and avoid eating out.

Run down and needs work. Beach is close though.

One positive comment we can make is the proximity to the beach. It is close. Also, parking was easy. Our trip was very short and last minute. House interior is run down and does not feel clean. Furnishings are old and tattered. Photos on website were likely taken many years ago. I can understand why there is plenty of summer availability. After we booked we were sent a message by the rental manager that this house is going up for sale.

Perfect for a quick getaway

Family wanted to go to the beach last minute and this property was available. We enjoyed our time. The beach is very close to walk to.
