1/5 - Terrible
The staff were nice, but we had terrible sleep due to issues mentioned. For that reason we can't give a positive rating to them.

Great place to stay for families. Staff so friendly and having the pool and other facilities to be able to use too, brilliant. We would love to return ❤️

Nice hotel, friendly and warm. Comfortable beds, everything worked and would stay again. Breakfast cooked food was good, the continental side is very basic.

Didn't go into Kendal itself. We went for a meal in the evening but did not explore the area.
We walked from the hotel into town which is just one straight road and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of different shops cafes and restaurants. There is definitely every shop you need. Loved it
Every place we went to we got great service especially Alpine cafe in windermere.....true gent who runs it......well worth a mention
Some interesting individual shops and some good restaurants if you look hard enough
