“We loved our stay at Little Brook Cottage. Perfectly located within the town of Windermere and walkable to shops, restaurants and sights. A little piece of home in The Lake District. ”

“Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. ”

“We love this site in Windermere and Top Lodge was a pleasure to stay in. The rooms were all clean and the beds were comfortable. Looked for a pet friendly option and this was perfect for us. The weather wasn't great and so we watched alot of TV, the only downside was the signal was poor but hey, nothing major.”

“Recommend! Lovely house in a great location in Windermere. Inside feels modern yet classic featuring all the mod cons (except dishwasher). Everything works and is to a high standard. The owners or manager’s left a nice welcome present and folder with print out of all the features, amenities and processes to follow for our stay which we thought was a good touch. Had a great time and recommend. Not a negative more an FYI, master bed is a bit small if you’re a big person and no dishwasher. Aside……

“The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere. The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets. All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. ”

“Cleanliness was great! Garden is big but not very well maintained. It would had been good if there were some toiletries (no handwash, no shampoo or soap anywhere - had plenty of towels and napkins) which I feel is basic necessity and not everyone would carry it unless aware of not having it in the house and there is nowhere you can buy it from nearby. Overall cleanliness was amazing, location and space is nice, and I would book it again for these reasons.”
