"What a beautiful piece of property. The house was so nice. I always look at the living rooms to make sure the can accommodate the amount of people they say can stay. This did! The views were amazing."

"This place is okay for a night. Breakfast was instant oatmeal packets, one type of cereal, bagels, bananas and apples, juice, and pre-packaged muffins. Not much, but enough to get you carb loaded for the day. The place is old, worn out, and a little dirty. Beds were comfy though. The pillows were small. I woke in the night and could hear someone snoring loudly from the room next door - the walls are super thin. In the morning I could hear the full conversation the neighboring room was having. Not a horrible place to spend one night though."

"The house is amazing, great location and plenty of room for us to gather. The small house has its own kitchen, bathrooms and two bedrooms. We were able to cook a big dinner for everyone in the kitchen.The neighbor was lovely. We were able to rent a boat and dock right at the house. Lovely place."

"Had a very relaxing stay. We met John (the host) when we arrived. Very easy check-in. Weather was not agreeable during our stay so the game room in the garage was awesome to have. We reached out to John to turn on the heat in the garage and he got back to us within minutes. Beds were extremely comfortable and the camp was very clean. The location is right in the middle of town. Short walk to many bars and restaurants. All in all A and we look forward to renting from John again."

"This house was a great place for our group during an extended stay for a work trip. It was located in a nice quiet neighborhood which was great. The home was clean and well stocked for our stay. The hosts answered our texts promply as well and they were great to work with. We would definitely stay again."

"We stayed at Sodus bay view for Christmas weekend2025. The property was clean and was the perfect place for our family to “meet in the middle” for the holiday. The kitchen was very well equipped and had a nice assortment of glassware , pots pans and silverware. The beds were comfortable and even though we provided our own linens for each it didn’t deter from comfort or the over all experience. The water was HOT and shower pressure good. Nice view of the bay and neighborhood/beach. The dogs enjoyed long walks around before the snow blanketed the town. First floor bathroom and bedroom were a must for my elderly dad who joined in on the family fun. "
