“What a delightfull hotel. The owner Laurens was a perfect host. Our room was huge & modern with the most amazing wide open vista of Sognefjord, the township and the coming & going ferries. Great outside restaurant deck. We had dinner as well which was excellent. Great menu. Must come back.”

“The view is outstanding and the hotel and lobby are beautiful. The antiques are wonderful and the museum tour was fabulous! Great food. We took the short King’s Road hike and it was fabulous! Connections to and from the hotel are well- coordinated however the 11:55 bus to catch the 1:05 Voss to Oslo train was too tight for comfort however we made it with 30 seconds to spare.”

“Das Hotel erscheint auf den Fotos sehr hübsch. Unser Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Die Einrichtung hat die besten Tage hinter sich, aber es ist noch ok. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und ausreichend Auswahl. Das Ambiente der öffentlichen Räume ist schon besonders schön. Alt aber sehr gut erhalten und Besonders. Der Garten vor dem Haus Richtung Gewässer ist sehr schön... die Aussicht ist es auch, wenn man wie wir ein Zimmer mit diesem Ausblick hat. Negativ ist mir die Holzfassade des Gebäudes……

“We stayed two nights during in late June. The views were just breathtaking!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a hotel with lots of history. Highly recommended.”

“我們在晚上八點前到達，取了房間才發覺欠一份床上用品(只有梳化床)，需要走一轉到服務台。退房需要自行收拾床上用品和包垃圾，但是，沒有告訴收集垃圾的位置。屋內的暖爐好好，廚房也好。對於我們只是用作渡過一個晚上是可接受的。”

“Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold på historisk hotell. Oppholdet var som å reise tilbake i tid. Mat servering, middag og frokost holder også veldig bra nivå, med mye lokal og hjemme laget mat. Anbefales på det sterkeste. ”

“Really enjoyed the hotel. New section was modern and very comfortable. Bed and bedding was great. Very clean. Historical section in Including dining rooms was wonderful. Food was very good. Great breakfast. Enjoyed learning about history of hotel relative to salmon fishing. Wonderful fish dinner. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A great find. ”
