“We enjoyed the size of the room and convenience for accessing all the fishing spots. We would recommend to have on hand some paper towels and extra trash bags. The decor in the room was perfect, gave the place a real ‘home away from home’ feeling! We would definitely return next year! Thank you for the opportunity to stay! ”

“Hosts are friendly and accommodating. The property and amenities exceeded expectations.Kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were well stocked with essentials.The decor and furniture were top notch. Gas grill was ready to go and an outdoor fire pit with multiple chairs and a picnic table. Beautiful quiet outdoor Alaskan neighborhood. We did not want to leaveConvenient to the Reindeer Hut which has excellent food , ice cream and beverages. Also close to Three Bears for food and supplies. ”

“Our group was thrilled with the place! Cabin wasn't huge, but had what we needed to make our own meals (bacon, potatoes, eggs, salmon, etc) which was awesome! Nice quiet place away from the crowds. They have a great fish cleaning bench with running water and also a packaging house with vacuum sealer, bags, etc which we used the whole process for 1.65/lb. They also had extra freezer space which we rented for 65 a week. Plenty of towels and everything needed to get the job done! They also have a……

“At arrival confusion prevailed. Not only had we already paid online through VRBO but also had to pay again upon arriving. Host had not received anything in account from VRBO, Host assured there would be a reimbursement, but there appeared to be a disconnect between lodge and VRBO. Actions are still pending. Room was cold until space and wall heaters were turned on. Slight leak under front of toilet. Room was rustic and comfortable. Location to fishing on Kasilof River is extremely good.”

“The property was beautiful, spacious and secluded. The kitchen was fully equipped for any meal you would want to prepare. We had a group of 15 ( aged 5 months old to 77) and everyone enjoyed it. We played cards, pool, ping pong and some fished on the private dock. Our host, Linda, arranged for 2 fishing trips and a day of massages. We got to see Moose, whales, sea lions and bald eagles, not to mention the beautiful Alaska scenery. We would definitely recommend anyone planning a trip to Alaska to……
