Solitude Ski Vacation

Great location for a family or group of friends ski holiday. Location to ski lifts makes it convenient. Great that each room had their own full bathroom.

Great Place for the family

More than enough room for the family. The kids loved taking over the upstairs as a play and craft room. Location was fantastic. Condition of the place was great. Would do it again!

Awesome Ski In Ski Out Condo

Family/friend get together

The property worked out perfectly for our 11 people - any more would have been tight. Great property - spacious and comfortable. I would suggest updating pots and pans and. a slow coffee pot - but that's my only complaint. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy walk to Apex lift and shuttle to Moonbeam base area. House has a nice kitchen and comfortable lodging. Game room and pool across the street were a plus for the kids. Very helpful and communicative staff.

Nice layout with good area to store gear and boots. Good amount of beds/bedrooms for our group (3 families, 11 total). Super convenient location to slopes and hot tubs/pool. Condo is showing some signs of age/wear and tear in carpets and cabinetry but only cosmetic. Bed mattresses and pillows weren’t amazing but also weren’t horrible, just seems like replacement might need to happen sooner rather than rather. Good size garage.

Family time

We had a wonderful stay at First Tracks. The condo, was clean, well stocked and so close to the Apex lift. For those in our crew who were novice skiers, the shuttle over to Moonbeam is right in front of the Apex lift and runs every 5 minutes. Could not be more convenient!! While the condo is a little tired, it's comfortable, plenty of room for a large crew to spread out and come together for dinners,movies and board games. Also, everyone at Cottonwood Management was fabulous!! We all agreed we'd stay again.

Annual friends and family ski trip

Solitude has limited large condo accommodations for multifamily and friend groups, but this condo was perfect for our group of 10. The condo was clean and had all the amenities we would need. The communal living room we found was a tad small for 10 adults but we made that work. The condo is easily access from the main roads and an easy walk to ski rental, as well as the base of the mountain. We love solitude in this condo allowed all of our families to spend another fabulous year on the mountain.

Solitude Townhouse

We were in Utah for a family wedding at Brighton ski area. This condo worked well for us as it was close to the road and only 5 minute drive to Brighton, which we made more times than I can count in 4 days! Plenty of room for 2 couples and another single son. We had a couple of small issues with the entry code and hot water but both were quickly resolved. We went to the pool once and it was easy to access, didn’t even need the key provided. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Big Cottonwood Canyon.

They are local and go above and beyond any other property management company we have ever stayed with to take care of their guests. Carole and her team are amazing! The First Tracks townhome is one of our favorite properties; but book early! We are glad to say that Solitude Ski Resort seems to be doing a much better job of taking care of guests who come to ski, eat, use Club Solitude, and put their kids in ski school than they used to when guests did not rent through them. Glad to see Solitude is focusing on running a ski resort and not continuing to try to dominate the accommodations in the village. This makes for a lot more options and better customer care with companies like Cottonwood Lodging. It is becoming a better experience every year! Thanks for another great stay Cottonwood Lodging and Solitude!

A wonderful townhome and a perfect location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a 6 day family ski trip with 6 adults and 3 children. The entire place was beautifully decorated, but kid friendly. The top level was perfect for the kids, and the other bedrooms had large bathrooms. We loved the large 2 level glass window in the living room and real log fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked every night. I do wish the bedroom on the living room had a king size bed. There was only one king size bed and it was on the lower level. We also loved the individual heating system for each room. It was wonderful to enter through the two car garage and be able to take off ski boots in the room off the garage. We needed to put groceries in the refrigerator before 4pm, and after calling the office, the cleaning group kindly let me put in groceries earlier. We would definitely come back and recommend this home!

Reviewer Comments: This townhome was an excellent rental with everything you’d expect in a luxury rental: spacious bedrooms, a 2-car garage, great wood-fired fireplace with plenty of wood in the garage, large smart TV, high-end sheets and pillows on the beds and a well-stocked kitchen for those who want to cook. The few complaints we had were relatively minor. For example, one of the bathrooms had a sink that drained VERY slowly (took about an hour) and a hair clot was left in the shower drain (I know it wasn’t my hair because of how short my hair is). Also, the Sonos built-in speaker system either didn’t work or was too complicated for us to figure out even though we read the directions and tried several times. Finally, the laundry is a bit inconvenient being in the garage, but still worked fine. A couple other positives: the property manager was particularly responsive and communicative, and the walk to the lifts only took about 3-4 minutes. Overall, anyone looking to ski Solitude / Brighton, I can definitely recommend this property.

Amazing Ski Townhouse

Highly recommend to a larger group looking to have ski-in/out with easy walk to Apex Lift, restaurant and rental shop.So many highlights - Beautiful view of the mountains from all levels- huge garage to keep your vehicle and gear secure and out of the weather- Large Mudroom with dozens of hooks to hang your gear to get it warm and dry for the next day.- Excellent laundry with full size washer/dryer- Wonderful master bedroom with comfortable bed, rain shower and soaking tub.- Other bedrooms were roomy with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. The loft was a great place for the kids to be out of the way and have their own large space.- Kitchen was very well stocked with nice modern appliances - a pleasure to cook in.- Family room was very roomy with three! nice sofas and a great AV system and TV setup. The dining table was huge and I believe could seat up to 10 people (we only had 5 but used it often).

Good view of mountain through large windows is pleasant. Garage is nice to avoid snow and parking issues. Heating system is electric that turns on and off constantly with annoying fans, bring earplugs for sleep. Home is showing wear: some towels and sheets had holes in them, nightlights are there but don't work, no power in main bathroom was not resolved. (Did no one else report these?) I recommend staying here, just have modest expectations.
