This is an excellent budget hotel. Their cleanliness is outstanding, and the attention to detail is impressive. I truly believe this hotel has been severely underrated. Honestly, it’s fantastic and very comfortable — especially when it comes to hygiene, which is exceptional. On top of that, the price is very affordable. Its location is extremely convenient, right next to shopping malls, making it easy to meet all your needs for dining, shopping, and transportation. It’s a great place, and I can guarantee I will definitely come back again.

We were visiting Solvang for the Julefest. The location and good reviews were the main reason to book this hotel. I reached Solvang around lunchtime on checkin day. It was almost impossible to find parking anywhere. I checked with the front desk. They were gracious enough to let me park at the hotel before checkin. I also received a text when the room was ready. The room itself was clean and in good shape. Beds were comfortable. For breakfast they made me fill out a form with things we’d like. Options included fresh pastries, cereal, milk, juice, fruits etc. Breakfast was delivered to our room early morning. The danish were fresh and so yummy. Will play to stay here again for my trips to Solvang in future.

Parking lot was full when we arrived, owner/manager moved his own car so we could park, great hospitality. You tell them what you want for breakfast (continental) and they bring it to your room each morning. Perfect location in Solvang, walking distance to everything. It was raining so didn’t get to enjoy the putting green sadly, but everything was great, definitely recommend!

We stayed here during Julefest to enjoy the Christmas festivities, and the location couldn’t have been better. The inn is centrally located and within easy walking distance of nearly everything in Solvang, which made exploring the town incredibly convenient. Our room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly and polite throughout our stay. One small note is the breakfast setup—it’s ordered in advance and delivered to your door rather than served in a dining area. While this wasn’t what we initially expected, it wasn’t a major issue, especially since Solvang has so many great breakfast spots worth trying anyway. Overall, for the price, Royal Copenhagen Inn offers excellent value. I would easily rate it an 8–9 out of 10 and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Solvang, especially during the holidays.
