"A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk."

It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Although no parking is available outside the front of the cottage, we had no problem parking in the road outside under the bridge as suggested. We enjoyed the walks along the Humber with the path starting right behind the cottage. "Hotel very close to the Railway station and St Stephens shopping centre. Was busy at check in so allow time and be patient. Breakfast area/ Bar area was busy both mornings, so suggest going early to avoid the rush. Only down side was waiting for lifts . Our room was on 7th floor and with the window open it was quite noisy at night into the early hours."
