Our room felt luxurious - it was beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable, with a great bed that guaranteed us a perfect night’s sleep. Patricia was a wonderfully welcoming host who made us feel completely at home and truly spoilt us throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, with an impressive variety of food served in a spectacular dining room. The entire house is elegant, warm, and stately, filled with interesting art……

“We had the best stay here. Very personalized service and great food cooked to order. Huge bathtub and super comfy beds. If you are ghost hunters you should definitely come to this 17th century guest house where we heard a disembodied voice greet us hello and then ‘farewell’ when leaving!! Altogether a wonderful experience. Lots of character and a super sweet dog. The building is very old and hence the walls and floors are crooked which adds to the character and highlights just how old and……

“Lovely location, rooms and buildings. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the gardens and park are gorgeous. Welcome and service excellent. We stayed after a visit to Longleat and it was the perfect relaxing stop after a busy day. Only thing that could have made it better would have been if food and drinks were available there in the evening, the cafe closes at 5. We drove to Frome and had an excellent meal in Little Walcot. ”
