The villa is truly a haven of peace

The villa is truly a haven of peace. We came with friends. The villa has everything you need to have an excellent stay, both indoors and outdoors. The owners were very welcoming and responsive. They were able to adapt and advise us on great activities. I highly recommend it. Summer in Italy is very active, attentive and has very good communication.

Lovely, quirky, house in stunning location. Very spacious. Great to have pool and pool table. Service from Carlo from rental company fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Owner very friendly and helpful as well. Car essential though. Thank you for a great week

Villa Lalla

As the gates of the property opened we were welcomed and told: "your vacation begins now". The host Maurizio was most helpful getting us organized and settled. We were introduced to the friendly and accommodating taxi driver Gaby who helped us get groceries and recommended amazing restaurants. Maurizio recommended a boat tour for Capri and Ezekiel met us at the docks to help direct us to our tour. My family loved the peace and quiet while spending the day by the pool. The house and kitchen are well equipped. Access to the property is recommended by taxi or scooter. We would certainly stay here again.

Villa Lisa/Lalla

We all enjoyed this property. Maurizio was an excellent host! Property was presented just as it said on VRBO site. We joined the quiet time in the mountains before going to the busier coastal towns. Maurizio gave us some good spots to eat up in his town. We loved Bar Orlando!!!! The setting of a smaller but vibrant countryside town. Maurizio helped arrange a boat ride to Capri and was our skipper too, incredible afternoon!! We only had time for 4 hours that day. I recommend more if you can. So thankful to have stayed here and we wish we would have stayed longer. Thank you our new friend at Villa Lisa/Lalla!! Fino alla prossima volta, ciao e grazie!!

Rustic Gem

The villa offered a rustic experience with beautiful views of Sorrento and Mt. Vesuvius. Though the home does not offer air conditioning, the many trees keep the property shaded and cool. Nights are very comfortable and required multiple covers. Maurizio and Lucia were great hosts. They were always available and helpful in answering questions and giving recommendations. They connected us with a reliable driving service that transported us from the airport in Rome and to various other places around Sorrento. Also Maurizio connected us to a reasonably priced boat touring company to view the Almafi Coast, Blue Grotto, and Capri by the sea. On our first night we asked for a welcome meal, at an additional cost, and the food prepared by Maurizio and Lucia were some of the best dishes we had during our 10 day stay in Italy. Definitely request Lucia's lasagna and Maurizio's grilled calamari. We really enjoyed our time at this property and in Sorrento.

Un lugar agradable

La casa está en un lugar tranquilo y sombreado a unos 15 minutos en coche de Sorrento, cerca de Santa Agata, un pueblo muy agradable en el que hay casi de todo. Mauricio fue muy amable. Estuvimos a gusto y recorrimos la zona, también caminando, por el sendero delle Sirenuse, que merece mucho la pena.

A great base for a family holiday

We spent a great week here with our three grown up children. This villa is a standard large Italian villa with several terraces and a well lit garden area next to the kitchen which makes eating outside very simple. It is high on the hill and has wonderful views in all directions. It has a small billiards table which was much appreciated by the children. The swimming pool is small but very clean with a nice deck and shade. The position of the villa is excellent and allows for easy access to Pompei Vesovio and Naples in one direction and the Amalfi coast in the other. The local village St Agatha is a short drive and has all the amenities needed such as shops and restaurants. The Villa is owned by Maurizio who was very helpful and available for any problem. He has a sailing licence and took us on a wonderful trip round the island of Capri in a small boat. from which we swam and eventually landed on the Island. This was one of the high points of the trip.

Our stay was extremely enjoyable

Our stay was extremely enjoyable. The villa itself was outstanding and the location was definitely "far from the madding crowd", yet close enough that shopping was just a 15 minute drive away from Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, the nearest village. Excellent service and back-up. I can't think of any improvements!

Very good choice.

Well equipped villa with much better views than the brochure suggested. Quiet location with good local walks. Elevation meant that the weather was not as hot as we expected in August. Helpful owner and plenty to do in the area. We had a very enjoyable holiday.
