South Bay Historic Hotel

"Stephanie's condo was the perfect location and accommodation for us. We spent two weeks over the Christmas/New Year holiday to spend time with family who live in IB. The condo was generously supplied with everything we needed, including some holiday extra goodies. We enjoyed some of the nearby restaurants within easy walking distance. Nice to have a secure garage space. Communication with the owner was easy, quick and efficient. Would be happy to stay here again."

"Small, old, but very nice hotel. Patio seating, lovely lobby, coffee/tea (and I think hot chocolate) in the AM. Room clean, bed reasonably comfortable, power strip on the desk for your rechargeables. Ice available near the patio. Shower narrow, water pressure not great - but quiet area, parking lot, and overall a good experience."

"This is a well managed and cared for property. It’s an older building, but it’s cared for. It offers a great vibe and the hotel staff and cafe staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are small, but provide you with the necessities and the beds are comfy with lots of pillows. The property is not close to any relevant beaches or attractions, but It is right of the I-5 and it has the transit train station a block away. I’d stay at the rambler again without thinking twice. "

"Front desk was not to happy that I got $15 cheaper deal by booking online .and was trying to do something on the computer to come up with any excuse not to give me the room even though I had a confirmation number and had already paid for it . I finally pushed him to honor the confirmed booking and received a room with no soap and shampoo "

"The room is really nice inside. The kitchen was a good size, but the oven burners take awhile to heat up. I was able to cook a full meal still. The kitchen does not come with any utensils or pots and pans. I was glad that I called beforehand to get that information. The room itself is very big and spacious. The room was clean for the most part with a few stains on the furniture here and there overall, I would stay again the staff made me feel very comfortable, and they were very accommodating to...
