"We have stayed at Emeline multiple times throughout the years. Our first few stays after the opening were wonderful, the last few ones have been hit or miss. We didn't have a big issue this time but have been disappointed by the quality of the service and the cleanliness, or lack of. We booked a suite for 3 people with one king bed and one sofa bed. The sofa bed didn't have any bedding or pillows so we asked the reception to send housekeeping. When we got back to the room, the sofa bed was open and the sheets were lying on top but the bed wasn't made. At $500 a night, it would be nice not to have to make the bed ourselves. Everything we used in the room was not replaced (coffee pods, cotton etc). One day we got only one hand towel for 3 people. Little things but it was annoying to constantly have to deal with that. The room looked clean at first but baseboards, doors, the rack under the sink were really gross. When we checked out, we were presented with a bill that was 3 times higher than we expected. It turned out that 3 different mistakes were made, including the amenity fee that was charged twice per night for one room. Not sure how that can happen. It took us over 20 minutes to check out, the worst part was that the employee was not even apologetic, and borderline unpleasant. We love Emeline for its location but the service really needs to improve."
