“Staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing, gardens were fabulous. Would recommend this property to everyone and would certainly book to go back again.”
“Great position. Our room overlooked the harbour so we had great views. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. It’s close to the main streets as well so ideally situated. Breakfast was great really tasty and ample. We would stay again for sure.”
“Très jolie chambre dans un magnifique pub ancien, au cœur du village. Facilement accessible à pied et à proximité immédiate du port, il est toutefois très compliqué de se garer en période de vacances. Sinon, le personnel était très sympathique, la nourriture excellente et tout le reste parfait ”
“AMAZING!!! A beautiful, very clean boutique hotel with a prime location in Fowey. The staff were friendly and helpful from the waiting staff to the barmaid to the housekeeper. A clear passion for the business that they are a part of.
The food was exceptional I only wish we had a longer stay so we will have to come again.
Thank you for the stay and keep doing what you do it’s done to a high standard. ”
“We’ve had a peaceful and relaxing long weekend in The garden studio, the mattress was very comfortable with a nice quality bedding. The studio had everything that was required and more, would definitely recommend and book again. ”
“Did not like the pub closing for drinks at 8:00pm and closing completely at 9:00pm, spoiling a really fantastic venue. I’ve not known anything like it.
”
“The room was absolutely amazing - large and looking over the ocean to St Michael’s Island. The staff was very accommodating and kind and made us feel like home. This will be the “go to” hotel/B&B in the future.”
“Lovely old hotel in the heart of the village , roaring fire , great menu and if like me you are a coeliac you are well catered for .
Parking just around the corner and very cheap
Very clean room , everything needed .
Excellent breakfast and so friendly , we will return ”
“The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens”
