「Great location as others have stated. We spent our whole trip walking to shops, restaurants, and even the cliff walk and mansions. The place was spacious enough, clean and well appointed. Having off the street parking was great. The window blinds allow light, but keep privacy. Small recommendations…bring a portable fan if you like a fan while sleeping. There were none in the house, nor ceiling fans. AC works very well, but I like air movement and didn’t want the windows open and get too warm....

「The house has great historical charm, is immaculate with and incredible view from the roof-deck. My favorite room is the dining/livingroom. Huge room with full view of the outdoors and a fabulous stone fireplace. The location was just what i was hoping; quiet, beautiful and spacious.Loved it!」

「Clean and beautiful. Would have liked a hand towel for guest bath and an additional kitchen towel. Also would have been nice to have a roll of paper towels and a couple more trash bags. 」

「The house had a deck with the woods behind. Deer came out in the morning. Great fire pit and hammock in the back also. Pictures are accurate. Great proximity to Newport. Nice quiet spot for a relaxing evening after going to Newport. Jamestown has great restaurants and is a very nice old town. I would say be aware that there is a spiral staircase that some people might have a problem navigating. We did not. Property owner was very responsive and nice. We would come back.」

「We stayed at Coastal Cottage in Portsmouth, Rhode Island for a week with my wife, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, and it was absolutely wonderful. The waterfront view was stunning, and the house had all the amenities we needed, plus a great deck for enjoying sunsets. We even made use of the canoes! Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we created some really great family memories. I’d highly recommend it. Owner is a good host and maintained open communication throughout.」

Host very responsive with any questions.The large screened in porch is the biggest selling feature to relax after a long beach day! 」

"The hotel’s location is great, not far from main street. They also offer a free Shuttle bus to take customers to the busiest area in town, so, you don’t have to worry about parking ! We reserved a water view room. It had two big windows , one of the curtain is broken, and they said they are out of batteries, so can not fix it during our stay, so we had to keep it closed all the time. So we can not see the water view from our bed, also because it is too broken, it can not really block the light either! We pay more for a water view room, but end up had no view and no good sleep! Pleople who works in the bar restaurant are really friendly, but the environment is filthy! A lot feathers came out of decoration pillows! Not very comfortable visually! "
