"If you read and loved the description of this place, you will, indeed, love this place. It's exactly what's advertised and it has been the perfect getaway for my husband and me twice now. Its a gorgeous location with ample fishing, reading, lazing opportunities. The cabin is adorable, the bed is comfy, the fire pit is awesome! There's so much to love about this place. We will be back every time we get the opportunity."

"This cottage isn't fancy but it has 4 bedrooms with lots of sleeping spaces, two tables for eating (or one for eating and one for playing board games!) and a nice outdoor patio area. We love the deep water dock and peacefulness of this part of Lake Gaston."

"Nice home that has been updated. Although on the smaller side, the layout made it feel much larger. Having ping pong and mortal combat in the basement was an added bonus the 4 teenage boys loved! Steps from the house to the dock are very steep, you will get a workout!"

"We were in the area for a music party at the George Winn Camp Ground so the cottage was mostly a place to sleep off the ground. However, the first encounter at the cottage was with Gavin as he stomped over to us and proceeded to pitch a fit because we had brought along a friend to the cottage to have dinner with us. "Our Ladies Bible study group has stayed each year at Lake Escape for our winter retreat. We love this beautiful setting! The home is full of natural light, spacious and cozy providing a wonderful place for our group-15 ladies this year. The two living rooms and several decks provide great places to be inspired.
