Anniversary get away
We loved the property. Apt was nice. Disappointed that we had no TV and the beds were very uncomfortable. Tv was on when we got there but went off. Was told there no cable but we couldn’t even get local tv to play.

Perfect Place for Us
We went to South Padre Island to celebrate our anniversary. This property was perfect for us. Two Bedrooms, Two bathrooms and the dining area that included a table. The property was clean and comfortable. If in the area again we will stay here if it is available.

Roaches
I was very disappointed as we arrived the door was hard to open due to very old knob. Roaches were all over. Next day they sprayed and yet more roaches appeared. Microwave was not working until I made a call in. No call to apologize. All you got was a person in a call center not near the location. Very disappointed with out any compensation or even a discount for future stay.

Weekend getaway
We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. If you plan to cook, take a picnic basket of spices, pot holders and maybe a good dish towel. Walking distance to beach and some shopping. I really enjoyed by walks on the beach.

Nice condo in a great location
We stayed at this property for 6 weeks and enjoyed the condo as well as the location. We would definitely be happy to stay here again. The decor was very nice, and was only lacking a couple of chairs on the balcony. We had everything we needed to prepare meals, and were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was perfect for us as we could walk to some local restaurants and business as well as the Christmas parade at the end of the block. The beach access is only half a block away. We have a few suggestions to make this place even better: a thorough deep cleaning is desperately needed, chairs added to the balcony, the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, the cookware could be replaced, and the mattresses and box springs should be replaced with something quieter and more comfortable. Turnkey was hit or miss. They came out right away when we had questions about the satellite and TV, and when there was water all over the kitchen floor due to a faulty garbage disposal. However, the technician who replaced the disposal neglected to remove the knock out, so the dishwasher wouldn't drain the next day and was full of dirty water. After FIVE DAYS of not being able to use the dishwasher and many requests for help, Turnkey finally came to remedy the problem. We also let them know twice that there was a broken vane in the blinds in the guest bedroom, and that the legs on the glass top coffee table were so wobbly we were afraid the table would collapse. They never did come to fix either one.

Okay property!
Okay property. They missed some basic up keep. the paint was wore on one the toilet seats, one bathroom had broken knob and few knifes i the block were rusty. Easy fixes, not sure who inspects it for up keep???

Great place for our trip
We loved this condo! It was the perfect size for our family of 4. The pool was clean and we never had to share with the other guests. I liked the short walk to the beach and the hose in the back for rinsing feet after coming back from the beach. Water pressure was good. Plenty of towels, which was nice. The kitchen had enough of what we needed for making meals (we didn't eat out). The location was nice and quiet and we never heard any of the other guests in surrounding condos. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet place close to the beach.

My only issue about the place was the very long code on the door to get in and I had to get a new code everyday for whatever reason BUT other than that I very much enjoyed the place, was very relaxing and the beds were super comfortable! Would 10/10 come back again

Everything was great. Clean, accommodating and cozy. The only downside was the back balcony was not as nice as the rest of the house, but considering I didn't know there was a back balcony when I booked, it's all good. No points off!

A bit worn but very nice
The property was nicely furnished in a beach theme and the inside looked to be fairly recently painted. Cons: Most of the skillets in the kitchen were too warped to use and need to be tossed but a couple of them were useable so we were able to make it work. As with any rental, if you are going to try to prepare gourmet meals there you should pack for it yourself. There were no extra garbage bags and only 1 roll of TP per bathroom so come prepared if staying more than a couple of days. The washer/dryer combo worked fine but we’re SO loud and shaky that you really couldn’t operate them while in watching tv or sleeping. The beds were very squeaky and not super comfy but not the worst that I’ve encountered in a rental. The water spigot outside the front door didn’t work and was capped off, which was a pain when trying not to track in sand from the beach. We realized a couple of days in though that there is a shower and a hose that you can use for that around back by the pool. There were a few other small things like hinges missing screws on kitchen cabinets causing the doors to partially come off when opened, trash can lid was broken so stepping on the foot peddle to open didn’t work. Minor bruises and scrapes on some furniture but nothing out of the ordinary for a rental in a place like SPI. PROS: Overall I thought for the price point the place was nice. The kitchen included a coffee maker and blender among other things. Dish soap, dishwasher tablets and laundry soap were supplied as well as a few small tubes of decent quality shampoo and conditioner for the bathrooms. The decor was aesthetically pleasing, the living room furniture was very comfy, plenty of hot water for our family of 3 to shower back to back and the AC worked great. The bath and hand towels were fluffy and decent quality, as was the bedding on both beds, which was a nice surprise. The location was fine if you aren’t fussed about a beachfront view and beach access was only a few minutes walk away. I would rent this property again. We enjoyed our first SPI visit and last minute summer vacation. I will advise that if you are doing a family trip and not a “party” vacation that you bring ear plugs. During the week everything was quiet but Thursday thru Saturday night people in surrounding apartments (not just the complex that we were in) were playing very music and partying VERY loudly until 3 or 4 am. I think that this would be the case anywhere on SPI.

Prior to each stay, we stock dish soap, laundry detergent, a roll of paper towels, toilet paper, a dish brush to wash dishes, a few trash bags, dishwasher detergent, bar soap, and the standard bathroom amenities you might find in a hotel. While bed preferences often vary greatly by person, we do apologize for any inconvenience this caused during your stay. comfortable stay but need some few improvements
The house was generally okay and comfortable expect for a few things. I think the image of the house make you think the house is newer or recently remodeled but the actual house looks older especially the bathrooms which look wornout, with small cracks/openings in the shower for main bathroom. The toilet seat are a little bit wornout. Also there was a dead cockroach in the kitchen when we walked in and found a few live roaches in the kitchen. Also you need to replace the pillows , bed sheets and bed covers. They had red or brown stains. Otherwise the location is great and quiet neighborhood. Also it will be nice to provide some hand soaps in the bathroom if possible,

Property Not What I Expected
This property was not properly cleaned upon our arrival. There was sand on the floors. The bed made a noise due to old box spring. They sent someone to sweep and they were there for all of 5 minutes. Then they sent a repairman with a tool box to inspect the bed. Really?? It needs a new box spring!

We enjoyed a 2 month stay here. Lovely property, very clean. Exceptionally responsive property management crew through TurnKey ( thank you, Ronnie Tanner!). Only one suggestion: please consider replacing lawn chairs. The current chairs are canvas and are stained or mildewed. In addition, you cannot sit upright in them as there is no way to adjust the almost 45° angled back. Thanks.

Wow what a nice place to stay, highly recommend!!
My family and I have made 4 trips to SPI in the last 5 years. We have stayed at 2 other properties and made the mistake of staying in the Pearl hotel the 1st year. Although, the other 2 condos were nice and we were happy with our visits. Mr. alaniz's condo was our hands down favorite. It was very nicely decorated, and the beds were the most comfortable we have experienced. The condo was fully stocked with everything we might need. Everything was clean and there were so many small amnesties provided for just about everything we needed. Mr. Alaniz was responsive and most importantly cared about our experience while we stayed in his place. When we come back we will try our best to book here again. Thanks again and if your thinking about staying here. Do it, DO IT!! You won't be disappointed.

Cozy stay
The Garden Breeze exceeded all of our expectations. Condo was very cozy and decorated nicely. Neighborhood is quiet and beach is only a short 5 minute walk away. Mr. Alanis is very polite and responds very quickly via email. The property manager, Mr Wesley is very helpful and friendly as well. After staying here, we will never choose a hotel on the island again, plan to stay here next summer.

We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay there again. Clean,great location to walk to restaurants,shops,beach,bay...very quiet neighborhood,plenty of room and decorated very beachey...I wish the pool was heated but in the summer it would be nice.

Pee in the bed
When we first arrived everything seemed fine. However when we entered the small bedroom it smelled terribly of pee. We bought febreeze to take the smell, however that didn’t help. By the time we realized it was actually because that someone had wet the bed it was very late at night, so we had to move everything out of the room, close the door and sleep on the couch. Besides the pee smell, the sheets were stained in both rooms. Next morning when we tried contacting them, we realized the only option was to call different numbers. As we are from Europe, it costs us $2 a minute to call American numbers. In total we ended up spending $25 on calling those different numbers. There were no e-mail or chats we could reach out to. They were swift to change the sheets, but we never heard back from wanting to get a refund for the first night. And we don’t want to spend another $25 calling them. Hopefully you see this review and reach out.
