Wonderful SPI beach house

We had an extended family beach vacation and this house had something for everyone. Beautiful views of SPI and the beach from rooftop deck. Comfortable beds and plenty of kid activities.

We had a wonderful time so much space and room. Great place to stay to see the view. Sunset and sunrise very clean employees very helpful. Everything is close by convenient. The beds are very comfortable. The showers were fantastic. we had a very fun time in this property. We are looking to book again..

Plenty of room

This house had plenty of room for our large group(32)!!! Perfect location from the right across the beach! The pool with the slide was perfect for the kids!! We didn't have to leave the house to see the fireworks, we watched them from the observation deck!

We had a great week at the house with our kids and grand kids. The kids loved the basket ball coirt and the pool. The house was right across the street from the beach with easy access. We will definitely try to go back next year.

House was excellent!

The house was very welcoming! Clear instructions and great communication with SPI Rentals. Our team loved the spacious areas and bedrooms and the close proximity to the beach. The weather was not what we hoped for, but the warmth and coziness of the house made our time worth while. Looking forward to making this our home for next year's retreat!

selective Get Away

selecting a comfortable,average price, and amenities were included in our selection of this resort home on South Padre Island. We had 32 individuals with ages 88 to 3 years of age. In attendance. It is neat, furnished with durable furniture and most items that are used. The pool and hot tub were used the most. When something was needed SPI responded quickly and resolved the issue. We would definitely recommend this home and plan on renting it again in the future. We have fond memories of a family get together.

Perfect for small wedding get together with friends and family

It was a perfect location for several friends and family to stay together for a wedding on island. The individual rooms and bathrooms were great for each to have privacy and a place to step away from the crowd. ** the roof top view makes the entire place worth it!!! **each floor has its own air control **There were 2 coffee pots so very helpful with that many people **plenty to cook with for large groups **they did have travel size toiletries in bathrooms and each bathroom had a hairdryer ** Great location to beach access. **shower pressure is a little low with that many people **not a very big washer and dryer for a really large group, but still helped! Overall great place to stay and we so enjoyed it!!

Family vacation

The entire family loved the house. The pool and hot tub was used everyday. Beach access across the street was appreciated. I personally thought the indoor basketball court was a waste of space. I was wrong! It was helpful to have an indoor space for the kids to run and play in. The adults also shot hoops. My family is hoping we can return and stay there again.

Our 5 Day Stay

SPI Rentals were excellent communicators through email and text prior to our arrival. The online contract was easy to complete. Once there on SPI, check-in was quick and efficient, staff were polite and helpful. They send a technician to show us how to operate the pool and spa, and later that first day another tech to reload the WiFi system which was not on. We could not have been more pleased with this accommodation and with the SPI staff. Kudos for good work!

Great House BUT

We rented this house for a family get together and it was definitely a good size for everyone that could attend. My ONLY complaint is that in a house this expensive - we paid alot to stay there for just a few days, you would think you could get a hot shower out of it. The water pressure was AWFUL. We could not even take a hot shower. There was ZERO water pressure and barely ANY hot water in the 3rd floor room we were in. Other than that it's a nice house, we enjoyed the pool.

SPI 2024 Annual Trip

We have been coming to SPI for 23 years with our family & this house was by far the best one we’ve stayed at. I rated it a 5 because of the rooms, cleanliness, views, easy beach access, basketball court/room & space for all of our food & supplies. If I were to change anything about this home it would be the drainage of the backyard & the seating around the pool. When it rains, the French drain gets clogged and we had to go unclog it ourselves so we could somewhat enjoy the outdoor area. I would add additional drainage in the wall areas and there isn’t enough covered area to enjoy the outside on the main floor. These are minor considering all of the other amenities this home offers.

House Review

House was beautiful and we all had an amazing experience. I would suggest adding door mats, especially at the door near the pool. That would help with cleaning shoes and wiping out any water before entering the house. I would also suggest adding better cleaning supplies like a Swiffer cordless vacuum. With having so many people in the house, it can get dirty pretty quickly. The alarm going off every time we opened the balcony doors was annoying as it would wake up other people asleep. I would also put laundry baskets in the closets and have a bigger washer and dryer.
