Overall we really enjoyed the location, it was very close to the beach, amazing restaurants market places and attractions. Also ,with the extreme heat we really enjoy the pool and the cool ac our room had... Our only small complaint was the cleaning fee of $170 for a not so clean condo...after speaking to our host he helped explain the cause and stated he would address it....

The place was in really bad shape . . . It was Dirty, furniture was terribly worn out, beds were loose appeared as if they were gonna break. . . . Shower heads not working properly. . . Really bad communication with owner of property. I paid $50 for early check in and I was charged $409 dollars for checking out one our late. I was charged for a whole day. That's equivalent to stealing. Makes this app untrustworthy. Check out was at 11am and by 1pm I had already been charged another night for cheking out two hours late.

I apologize for the air Conditioning not working but I Did give you a huge upgrade with a house and private pool. You told me you got the water on and i verified this the next day. I wish I could have done more.

I wasn’t notified that I had to check in early. I was working that way so when I got there I wasn’t able to stay the first night. Extremely upset. It’s filled with bugs and spiders. I definitely won’t stay there ever again.

Hi Sarah, I'm sorry you see the check in times but this has happened to me as well when I reserved a room so please don't feel like your the only one and I know it hurts but read everything carefully before you book as you are entering into a contract especially if you rent a condo. This is the first time this has happened to a guest and obviously I don't want it to happen again. I've changed the welcome email to remind guests that check in is until 9pm which means call me to sign the rental agreement and get your code then you can go in at anytime. I checked the condo for bugs and there were no bugs. You didn't notify me of any bugs during your stay. The entire building is fumigated every month by a professional pest control company.

Great place and location!
The place was great! Everything we needed was provides. My only complaint would be that 1 of the toilets didn't flush well. Other than that, great place!

Dirty place with dirty sheets roaches
We checked in during the day was charged for a deposit and cleaning fee. Place was dirty has roaches all over the place. Beds has stains on them found a toothpick on one of the beds. There was hair on the towels. Very upset with this place. We left from the place cause I wasn't gonna let my kids sleep on dirty sheets. Or that dirty of a place

I do apologize for the Roku not working correctly but please keep in mind that was due to a software error from Roku and the main TV in the living room was working fine. The Roku should be working now. We also replaced the electrical plug cover behind the bed. I assure you were never in any danger. I checked all the locks and they are working properly. Since you did not bring this to my attention while on your stay I couldn't address the issues then to make sure you had a great stay. I do want to say that the far majority of guests enjoy their stay without issues but do not leave reviews but we want every guest to have a five star stay. Feel free to reach out to me next time you come to Padre and I will make sure your stay is a perfect one.

This guest didn't even stay here. We want everyone to have a great stay and most do. They are just upset because the reservation is non refundable. We did not ruin your vacation or anyone else's vacation for that matter. It would be great if more people would leave positive reviews for their wonderful stays instead of people wanting revenge because they dont get refunded when They dont stay.

Check in took over an hour and the owner wouldn’t respond. The spectrum cable didn’t work all weekend so in times of relaxation after the beach, there was NOTHING TO DO at the condo. The owner was made aware and never responded. Horrible experience.

I contacted you before arriving so you can check in prior to arrival and just go directly into the condo but I couldn't reach you so if you wait til you arrive at the condo it takes about 30 minutes depending on how fast you pay the deposit and sign the rental agreement. I don't know what you mean that I wouldn't respond because I responded as soon as I could. If you sent me messages instead of calling while I'm checking people in it will take longer for me to respond. Im sorry that because you couldn't get spectrum to work you didn't enjoy your weekend. You Checked in on Friday but you advised me until latenight Saturday and checked out Sunday morning before anyone could get there. Someone changed the source on the TV so all that was needed was to change the source back to HDMI which was a simple fix. There are so many things to do at the island like using the pool, star gazing, etc. The condo has high speed internet for watching movies on Youtube or netflix, playing games and theres a DVD player. I want every guest to have a great experience while staying at my condos.

The owner is awful! Stay clear of this place. The owner is the most unethical person I have ever done business with. He doesn’t send you the contract until you have already paid your fees and I was already heading there. Contract had questionable items like a minimum 2 night stay because the property company requires this but he doesn’t abide. You pay a resort fee yet a security guard came by to tell us that it is an additional $5 per person because we didn’t have wristbands. I invited my sister’s family over to have pizza with us so I paid wristband for them as well now they owner says he will not refund deposit! He will refund if I remove my negative review! I am paying $250 to save your vacation. Don’t rent this place. The kid pool had a roach floating in it. Big group at night smoking marijuana in the pool no security then.

Bobbie wants to make us look bad because she reserved for 5 guests and brought 10. Security should not have let them in but they did since they bought extra wristbands which Bobbie didn't want to pay for either but expected us to pay for them for her and that if I didn't she would leave a negative review. None of this would have happened if she hadn't brought more people than what she reserved for. Most condos and hotels require wristbands during peak seasons because non paying guests will enter the property and use facilites they didn't pay for depriving the paying guests from enjoying them. It was 4th of July weekend which is our busiest season and every guest has the right to enjoy the pool so we don't allow outside guests to use the pool. The pool has a filtration system so there are never bugs in the pool. Security was there all night so nobody was smoking in the pool and if there were she did not report them. I hope that if anyone reading this review has any doubts to please contact us as we want all of our guests to leave 5 star reviews and be happy. We don't want other guests to ruin your vacation.

We are very sorry you left this negative review. This guest cancelled this non refundable reservation and wanted a refund however when you rented this condo it was taken off the market as it was reserved and guaranteed for you. This is why it is a non refundable reservation all condos are non refundable. We take our inventory very seriously so our guests will never arrive without a condo available for them. If you are reading this revew and considering reserving this condo please keep in mind you will not be without a place to stay when you arrive and we will do what we can to make sure you have a 5 star stay.

RST SERVICE EVER! I’ve been going to the island since I was a baby and NEVER had I experienced this type of attitude from owner of s condo. To start of the check in is st 4 pm and check out at 10 am, this doesn’t make any sense not even a full day of rent. They took super long to send me the contract so I could sign and suggested that if I wanted to go in earlier I could pay $50 EXTRA and that we could go in earlier. We where there since 12 pm and then claimed that ny signature on the contract did not match the one on my ID. TAny ways we got the access code at 2:30 pm and surprise! Now he was charging me extra for one extra person because the cleaning lady told him that there where 8 of us instead of 7, let me remind you the advertising said 10 person capacity!!!! So even if the “extra” was staying there bo one should have ever charged us extra! The kitchen was torn up from the ceiling, two of the beds where completely covered in sand and cat/dog hairs, both TVs did not work at all and the entire place smelled humid. They charge $97 for cleaning but you have to clean everything????? According to the rules. Also personal belongings and food where left there feom the past guest or left by the owners im guessing. Over all a horrible experience the entiee time the owner was INCREDIBLY rude to both my husband and I and kept on blaming us. Oh and forget about my $50 extra for getting in 1 and a half hour “earlier” lol.

Noe, This review really irritates me. When you booked the listing clearly states that check in is at 4pm. All hotels charge a fee for early check-in and yes It does take me some time to get you checked in so I always email guests ahead of time to contact me 3 days in advance to check in. All I did was offer you early check in and you accepted. When you reserve a condo for 7 its a contract. That means you can't bring 8, 9 or 10. I charge an extra fee for guests over 6. The reason is that theres a ton of competition for places with 6 or less guests so I have to lower my price and charge extra for 7 and 8 guests. There are a ton of condos for sale because nobody makes money renting condos. We just allow people to stay to try to help with the expenses. Many just want to pay their taxes so when you reserve for 4 and bring 8 guests be prepared to pay for those people. I had asked you again to confirm the quantity and again you stated 7 guests. I don't undertand why you are upset. I try to work with everyone but you lied to me several times.

All we ask for is a valid id like every other hotel or condo. This is standard practice for the safety of our guests. The site says in to contact us prior to arrival so we can get you checked in and get you a door code so you can just go in to the condo and not waste your time. This guest made multiple reservations and didn't show up sending us a message that they had a change of plans and wouldn't be staying. They also did not wait but went to the beach while we prepared the paperwork and said they would be back but never showed up. They are only trying to get revenge for them deciding to stay elsewhere.

We are taking legal action against this guest for leaving not just negative feedback but flat out lies who never even stayed at the condo. We do not scam people. The place definitely is NOT nor does it appear abandoned, quite the contrary it's a newer construction less than 10 years old. The state attorney general and the site would shut us down immediately. These are luxury condos with luxury furnishing such as leather couches and name brand linens like nautica, not cheap motel furnishings and linens. We have also requested the feedback be removed immediately. Please call us if you have any questions regarding this feedback and check out the very positive feedback we have received.
