Inadequate seating for intended number of guests. Dryer old and rusted. All lighting comes from ceiling—no lamps for reading. Filled with bric a brac covering every horizontal surface.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time in a vacation home by Marriott. There are obviously no standards - the beds were horrible, pillows worse, bath towels with holes in them, sheets with blood spots, linens not put away or laundered properly (white towels obviously not bleached, so were dingy), just for starters. Location was great, but not well maintained on the outside or inside. Light bulbs out in bedroom, dining room, and living room. Outside on the balcony the wood is rotten, and the building and windows need a good washing.There were no beach towels provided (for which had we been told, we would have brought), and the list goes on.Upon arrival on Thursday we contacted property management and requested towels without holes and were assured by the property management company that some would be delivered, but that never happened. We were not provided with sufficient bath towels, bath mats, wash cloths or hand towels for 4 people, much less 6 or 7.We had previously stayed with Wyndham in a similar situation, and we expected higher standards from a Marriott property.

Beautiful property that had everything I needed, except a pool. 2 min walk to the bay, not the beach. It would’ve taken more than 10 minutes to walk to beach and you have to cross the main road.

It was ok. I would have given a better review but we were locked out due to key code and was advised that someone would contact us with new code and it was never done. Also my son advised me on the last night that he seen a roach in the restroom so that was disappointing. I would have liked better communication on their part

We came down from Oklahoma with our 2 year old to get some beach time before the next baby arrived. It’s a great property. Spacious and quiet. You do have to cross the main road on the island to get to the beach, but it’s a quick drive. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice property. Well cared for and service response time for a few small issues was exceptional. Quiet neighborhood for the most part. We left behind some additional items to pay it forward to the next renters but all the basics are there for you. Book and enjoy!

There were just a few minor issues (lights burnt out, some ants). It was a good location. We were happy with it all and all. However, I tried to contract Turnkey in advance with a question about cancelling due to COVID 19 and was holding for 30 minutes one time and a full 45 minutes another. Since I could not get anyone to answer, we just went ahead with the vacation as I did not want to take the chance of being charged and not using it.

The condo was just as the pictures indicated. My granddaughters liked the openness of the space and the balcony patio. I was pleased the unit was stocked with everything we needed to feel like we were at home. It helped make our vacation very enjoyable. Thanks!

Immaculate! Great location! A few walkable blocks to a grocery store, liquor store, beach stores and restaurants. Great amount of space if you should want to have guests over. Everything you need in the kitchen to cook meals with a grill on a private deck with a nice sized table and chairs.

The home was immaculate! Large bedrooms each with a private bathroom. While I didn’t cook while I was there, the kitchen is supplied with everything you would need to make meals. Nice private deck with a good-sized table and chairs along with a gas grill. Large dining room table if you wanted to entertain. Very quiet complex. Unable to hear any traffic noise outside. Very nice unit. I highly recommend.

This place is in such an amazing area! The home is complete with everything you would need, cooking supplies, cleaning supplies, cards, and even has a very good choices for TV for the family!!! I loved it!!!

The apartment is lovely and very comfortable for a family of six. Its has all of the conveniences of your own home and its close to the beach. The only serious issue was the lack of internet & tv. The only channel we could access was the cartoon channel. Upon contacting Ezekiel Mata, the managing agent, he responded immediately, came by the house attempted get us a hotspot but one was not available. He reached out to the owner explained the situation and while it was not able to get resolve while we were there, he worked out with the owner to get this issue resolved. He was personable, responsive and attentive and understood the importance of getting this resolved. He provided us with a refund which was very nice. I would highly recommend the place and his services and will contact him in the future when we return to South Padre.
