Clean but air conditioning broke.

The condo was very clean and seemed newly renovated, but the air conditioning seemed to be the original and broke in the middle of our stay. We called the help line and was told that someone would come out to fix it in the next day, but no one ever came and it just became more hot and humid until we left. I was disappointed because it was such a cute place, but it became unbearable towards the end.

Wellener Family Vacay!

Wonderful beach escape

we absolutely loved our stay at the condo! It was perfect for my family of 5. The kids really enjoyed the heated pool and the privacy of the pool area. The beach is literally just a very short walk away and we were able to pull our ice chest and walk our chairs right over to the close- by access. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need during your stay. The condo is beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. We will definitely be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very nice and comfortable. It had everything you could need. I really like how the home was decorated. Also enjoyed the grounds, it was very well kept, heated pool and a nice hot tub. I would rent this unit again. The only con is that it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. However, I would not rent through Turnkey again. We actually had a different home rented. As we were heading to TX from MN, we got a call the night before our arrival stating that our rental was no longer available due to damage. The rep I spoke to stated that their relocation team would get back to us soon to help us find another place. They did offer us a one bedroom with 1 bath and we refused because we rented a 2 bedroom and 1.5 bath and we were staying for a month. Nobody called us back when we were about 45 mins away from South Padre, we had to call them before they offered us this location, which we had to accept due to timing. We are happy that we did.We also contacted them inquiring about a vacuum so we were able to clean up after ourselves and we wanted to be respectful to the owners by caring for their home, the rep I was in contact with basically told me to find a broom. I just replied I will not be sweeping the carpet. We ended up buying a cheap vacuum. I did not feel Turnkey was that helpful. We would be happy to rent this condo again, but will not go through Turnkey again.

Good Value. Nicely furnished. Close to beach

Pros: Few blocks from the beach. Nice clean furnishings, newer appliances, close to small island market, pool decent size and heated. Laundry conveniently in complex and reasonably priced at $2 a load (bring your own quarters, no change machine) Con: shower in full bath needs a little work - shower door sticks some, faucet mostly sprays on your feet more than the shower head. All and all this was a good place for us to stay and a good value.

Nice stay in a quiet location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo met all the expectations as presented when I booked it. Quiet area with a very short walk to the beach. We loved the updated look, but had to hide the adorable decor from my very active 2 year old. When the trash was full and a spare trash bag wasn’t present, I texted them and received a box of trash bags. A couple of downsides, the beds were super firm (I came prepared and brought my mattress topper - I have severe back pain), the kids room is in the very front of the condo - literally the window to the bedroom is facing the walkway. Needless to say, I kept my kids in the room with me - can’t trust anyone these days. Lastly, it was extremely tough lugging all of our luggage and food items up three flights of stairs (my husband was drenched in sweat).
