Perfect Stay

Awful Experience

I come to SPI once a year and this has been the worst, the place was cozy, but the AC did not work, we had to wait for someone the next morning, who made us lose our morning. The parking slots were not room numbered and they were super small, our truck had a hard time fitting in there, also cockroaches were present. I wont come back ever.

Lightning

The bedroom could use more lighting. The parking lot spaces could be a little bit wider. It would be nice if only adults stayed, no children. They liked to leave all their toys in the pool when not there . Fireplace in living room needs to be fixed or replaced. Sliding glass door needs to be replaced along with some of the outdoor furniture. Pillowcases that actually fit the bed pillows.

Cozy Condo Close to the Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at South Padre and the location of this property was very convenient for all the things we had planned for the Labor Day weekend. The property was as described in the ad, comfortable, and convenient. I would recommend this unit and would likely return again. The beach access is a short walk across the street, about a half of a block away, and it was very convenient to get to the beach. If you plan to bring a lot of supplies to the beach for the day, I would recommend a small rolling cart for an easy, single trip to the beach to setup & return home for the day. The only thing we wanted to point out was that the parking lot was entirely full of guests visiting those with valid parking passes and there was no parking available the night before Labor Day. This was likely due to the events going on during the holiday weekend, but we were told by the property manager when we called that technically there were slightly less than 1 parking space per unit on average and there was nothing that could be done, but parking on the street was permitted as long as it was along a curb. We were luckily able to find parking on the street close to the unit, but we wanted to share this so other guests can plan to Uber or plan for a similar situation on busy dates during the year. The pool was clean and convenient. Overall, we had a great experience.

Llegamos a la habitación y el AC no funcionaba, se me notificó que alguien iría la mañana siguiente a ponerle gas. La persona llegó y me comentó que pensaba que no había nadie en la propiedad, estuvo alrededor de una hora entrando y saliendo, entiendo que el sólo está haciendo su trabajo pero nos quitó una hora, esto es culpa de los propietarios que no tuvieron lista nuestra habitación. Las ventilas del AC estaban llenas de MOHO, no tiene mantenimiento. Los lugares de estacionamiento son REDUCIDOS, no aptos para camionetas, nosotros ibamos en una dodge ram 1500 y tuvimos problemas, para que lo tengan en mente. También se presentan cucarachas en la propiedad, incluso pisé una, lo cual indica que no se hacen fumigaciones, cosa que nunca me ha sucedido en otros condos de SPI. Consideren 2 veces antes de elegir esta opción, el precio es atractivo pero se arriesgan el estar incómodos. Lo único bueno es que la cama y el sillón son cómodos, y el internet funcionaba bien.

Besides the cleaning fee that's outrageous at every rental, thumbs up. I learned that staying 100feet off the beachfront is a better experience and cheaper. They graciously let us check in early which saved all our frozen and refrigerated groceries. I'll be back!

Cute place just minutes from the beach.

Place was clean and perfect for a weekend getaway. Beach and shops were in walking distance and we enjoyed the pool right outside the patio door. Would definitely go again.

Great Apartment

The only issue we had is that we had taken our bikes and there wasn't much room for storing them in the bike rack. Also, our biggest problem was that the laundry coin machines were full and we had to go somewhere else to do our laundry. Otherwise a great stay.

The condo was well appointed, all kitchen necessary provided. The king bed was very comfortable..

It has a beautiful garden with a pool and hot tub feet from the room. Also offered was a baby gate and pack and play my grand daughter was able to use.
