“Rachel’s Place is a unique cottage, with everything you could need. We happened to occupy the cottage directly during the terrible national storm. Since no one was registered to stay immediately after us, we extended our stay by one day to allow the road conditions to improve somewhat. It took eleven hours to return home, but we made it without incident. We absolutely loved Rachel’s place and hope to return sometime. The owners do a good job of anticipating the needs of their guests, since there……

“Tiny Cabin in the woods! Great little brwak from reality! Definitely would be great to spend with a significant other. Away from pretty much everything. Don't come out here if you are wanting to be near people because there isnt any. Which was exactly what i needed. I would have loved to have a window blind or something on the kitchen window and a little more comfier couch(but i was warned that the couch wasn't anything special). Overall it was just what i needed. Thank yall so much!”

“Host was very welcoming. We enjoyed our stay very much. We were only able to use internet or receive calls directly sitting beside the wi fi extender or outside. It was nice to unplug though and spend time together. It was a very peaceful and quiet location to stay. ”

“The host was quick to answer questions and provide suggestions. It was very clean and most everything worked with exception of the ice delivery on the fridge and also the dryer was out of order. There was also some other fees that weren’t disclosed up front. Overall, nice quiet atmosphere. Be careful entering the gate area from the road as it is pretty rough and there are some potholes to avoid on the road once thru the gate.”
