「The room was clean and the inn was very peaceful and quiet, but there were problems with the furniture and a weird smell when me and my family entered the room. The water in the shower was taking a long time to drain, the mirror was cracked, there were stains on the curtains, and pieces of the table were chipped off. Breakfast was also plain and they did not have many options to choose from. 」

「No breakfast! The room was cramped and only had one trash can. Still taking advantage of Covid business model. We were there four days and room was made up once. I had to go to the front to get. Coffee and cups everyday. I have stayed in Motel 6 back in the 70s that was more comfortable. Don’t even get me started on the noisy barn door on the toilet stall. I expect a lot more from Marriott. FIRST TIME LAST TIME」

「Our email confirmation guided us to the property. We showed up to the door and I opened up my app inbox to get entry instructions. That was when I saw my inbox message that it had been double booked. To their partial credit, the message was sent 6 days prior. However, I hadn’t been prompted to check my inbox. The property manager was apologetic in the message and asked me to cancel the booking. Obviously I didn’t cancel the booking (didn’t see the message) and no effort was made to follow up...
