"It's not cheap for what it is but you are paying for the convenience of the location. Ideally situated in the park, the hotel also has a restaurant and cafe, the supermarket is nearby and the shuttle stops there. Heat and AC, TV and a warm shower are luxuries in a national park and they all worked well. I didn't think we would have wifi either, but our phones did have data. Walls are really thin though and people made a lot of noise especially really early in the morning with doors slamming and...

"The room was adequate and the view spectacular. It was a second floor view room. However finding the room after dark upon arrival and lugging my heavy suitcase to it proved problematic. We wish Guest Services had told us the exact entry. Our room was in the middle of the building and you had to use the central entrance which is not marked well from the outside. Parking is difficult as the spaces stay filled the entire time. Best to arrive before dark! But we had hiked part of the South Kaibab...
