It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.”

“Beautiful historic hotel. We had a great comfortable room. The staff we met Sarah and Glen were professional, very helpful and sweet people. The breakfast was very good. No hot eggs, or pancakes etc but it was everything else. Great Great endless coffee. A newspaper to read and it was quiet and very comfortable. I will come back .The restaurant looked fabulous. next time I will try dinner there.”
