“Wir haben das Folie Marine aufgrund des Premium-Anspruchs gebucht und hatten entsprechend hohe Erwartungen. Leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Unser Zimmer war zwar grundsätzlich sauber aber während des gesamten Aufenthalts hatten wir ein großes Problem mit Insekten. Es kamen ständig Käfer aus verschiedenen Ecken des Zimmers. Besonders unangenehm war dass sogar ein Käfer aus einem unserer Kissen kam. Auch der Balkon war voller Insekten und größerer Käfer sodass wir ihn überhaupt nicht nutzen……

“We booked just a couple of hours before arrival. When we arrived around 4 PM, the place was completely closed. One phone call later, the staff drove over and opened everything up for us. A magnificent place, which is clearly reflected in the photos. Dinner was served from the restaurant and drinks from the bar. Both the restaurant and the bar are nothing short of world-class quality. It’s hard not to be endlessly impressed by their dedication and hospitality — and impressed we certainly……

“Nice Hotel in the heart of the old town of Berat. Near the castle, but an uphill walk for all of it. Lots of nearby restaurants. The staff was very friendly.”

“The hotel was perfectly situated for visiting Barat. Very comfortable room, very modern and exceptionally clean. Plenty of parking and wonderful breakfast spread. But the thing that we appreciated the most was how friendly and attentive the hotel staff are. We had to deal with a medical emergency during our stay and the staff went out of their way to assist us. All the staff that we dealt with were excellent however we really need to call out Martinela at reception and Luli in housekeeping……

“No hotel is better situated for you to enjoy Lake Ohrid. It is right on the lake and is so serene, peaceful and beautiful. We took great pleasure sitting on the balcony enjoying the bird calls, deep blue water and clouds slipping along in the sky. The husband and wife owners were wonderful, they gave us suggestions of additional places to enjoy that we were unaware of. The meals were very good. I would come back.”

Furniture and appliances were either brand new or well taken care of, all very stylish, modern and so comfortable. I slept well every night.
