「Great place, clean and comfortable with great communication and special touches by the host.」

「Vintage vibes complete with the smell of grandma’s home. Beds were uncomfortable. Furniture was vintage and not in great shape. Hall bath had moldy caulking around the tub. Spiders and small bugs coming out of the drains.」

「Our review of the property at Sun Filled Lake House Living property from July 10 to July 18, 2026.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The property looked exactly like the pictures, and we absolutely loved the character of the old-style cottage. The setting nestled in the woods was beautiful, and having two outdoor sitting areas was a great feature. We particularly enjoyed spending our mornings having coffee on the front patio, which quickly became our favorite spot. We also spent a great day at...

「We had a dinner for a grooms dinner and found this to be the perfect spot! The kitchen was well stocked and wonderful to cook in. Our guests were very impressed. It was immaculate and their is a Whole Foods just a block and a half away or a costco a short drive away. We loved cooking on the grill on the deck and the guys enjoyed having the gas fireplace and couches there as well! Lovely place!」

「Beautiful, well maintained, lovely New England home with a fully updated kitchen, 2 minute walk to Blue Back square in the heart of west Hartford. Perfectly clean, well equipped with many little extra touches. Mark was a perfect host, always available and responsive to us the entire trip. Highly recommend! Seamless stay」

「Clean and worked well for what we needed. Comfortable beds」

「Great place! 」

「This was a great weekend away in CT! The house was comfortable and clean. Very cozy setup and good communication with the host. The weather wasn’t amazing but we still enjoyed our stay for the weekend.」

Instead, we had noisy construction crews on site, without any warning. When we complained and specifically asked that no one be on site for the remainder of our stay, the host agreed. That is not what happened. The crews showed up daily, sawing through brick and mortar in what appeared to be an addition. This all happened right outside our door,...

「This was a 2 month stay for us and was not equipped for longer term stays. Storage is a challenge. On the plus side, the host is responds quickly and helped with any issues we had. The location was great as we needed to be in a specific area.」

「A cozy pet and family-friendly property. Very spacious.」
