We traveled to Spanish Wells for the first time with our family for spring break and had a wonderful stay at Cocoplum! The house was perfect, plenty of room for the 5 of us. We enjoyed preparing our meals in the well equipped kitchen and eating and relaxing on the spacious porch. We loved exploring Spanish Wells and the surrounding area. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your home and island with us! We hope to return!!

This is our second stay at CocoPlum and we just love it. The house, situated at the end of a quiet street, is very spacious, clean, updated and the porch is a dream. There's plenty of room to spread out as there's 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all nicely appointed. It is centrally located with a very short walk to the beach and Food Fair on one side and just a block from the harbor on the other side. Our communication with Laura has always been great - we would like to meet her someday! Without hesitation, we would stay here again.

We love Spanish Wells! This was our 3rd time to the island. The home was perfectly located near beach, food and morning coffee ;) We enjoyed our stay very much! I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a great time in Spanish Wells. The beach was right down the street and absolutely beautiful. Had an incredible experience fishing for tuna! Our neighbor Mary in the beautiful pink house was so helpful and her pet goat Boat Goat made us smile everytime we saw her.

We had a wonderful vacation. Great communication with Laura and Carolyn. We had an issue with the AC in the master and Carolyn went out of her way to make sure it was fixed the same day. Also, I appreciated her setting up transportation for us and taking us to the house to ensure we had everything we needed. The house was great and had everything we needed. The island and locals are amazing! We will be back!!

We just recently left Spanish Wells after a week at Cocoplum! The home was perfect for us with 4 adults and 3 young kids! Staying at cocoplum made our trip so enjoyable and we cannot wait to book again! Beautiful and comfortable with a great porch over looking the harbour!

We had a fantastic stay at Cocoplum. The house is lovely, well appointed and centrally located. Fantastic breezes from the large porch, which makes for a great reading spot. Very quiet as well, except for the occasional rooster :-) The House Manager was great and made check-in super easy.

Loved the house. Very comfortable and welcoming. Kitchen is well stocked with all cooking needs. Location being in town (not that you have to go far if out of town) was great. Very relaxing with all the chickens and roosters roaming freely and fruit trees in the yard.

Cocoplum is great, all the mod cons, lush tropical foliage on the grounds, views of the harbour and nearby sound from the deck, and also the ocean from the top floor. The beach, the harbour, the food store are minutes away by foot, and the two bicycles are available for exploring the island further afield ... or rent a golf cart if you like. Many nice restaurants and shopping available, as well as fishing or beach excursion charters. I will definitely visit again!

Our stay was amazing! The caretakers went above to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They made the house extremely kid-friendly for our 2 young kids. It was well stocked with necessities. We loved that the house was tucked back with a garden-like feel, but you still get a view of some water. It's so close to the beach, 5 minute walk or 2-minute golf cart ride. Spanish Wells now holds a special little place in my heart, definitely will be dreaming of the crystal clear blue waters and beautiful beaches for a while. Highly recommend this beautiful cozy home!

This place was a perfect relaxing getaway for our family. Owner and hosts are absolutely awesome, helpful and accommodating. They coordinated everything to help us get on the island and make our stay painless and enjoyable. We would definitely go back and stay there. Spanish Wells is gorgeous and everybody is friendly. We absolutely loved our time there. It was a great place to unwind and recharge. Would definitely recommend the house and the island!

This house was perfect for my husband/me, our daughter/husband and their son. There was plenty of bedroom and bathroom space for us all both upstairs and on the main floor. The kitchen was fully equipped for preparing our meals and we LOVED the large outdoor porch with lots of comfortable seating surrounded by lush foliage. The property is tucked away from busy streets and really is only a 5-minute walk to the beach. There are A/C and fans in every room providing maximum comfort. Any questions we had were answered and dealt with very quickly. We really enjoyed this property and plan to return!

This was our first visit but it definitely won't be our last! Cocoplum is centrally located, beautifully maintained and decorated, while providing every amenity you need and is essentially home away from home! You can cook or grill a huge meal for friends and family because everything is there and at your fingertips; or relax on the beautiful covered porch and read a book. If catching a show or game is what you want, watch any program you wish on one of their smart tv's. It is also child friendly with baby bed, pack n play, bouncer and much more than we expected. We had not one issue and this will be our Spanish Wells destination for future visits. We loved the island, the adventures, the food and especially the people! You will not be disappointed in this wonderful home and all it offers.

My family had a wonderful 4 day stay at Cocoplum. We had some drama with Silver Airways and my husband's passport and needed to change our trip dates 1 week before - we were lucky the home was not rented then and Laura was very gracious to allow us to make the changes. Its perfectly located in Spanish Wells and a very comfortable home, exactly as pictured and described. We rented a car for 1 day to explore Eleuthera and did a boat trip with Uncle Rob's another...he lives right down the street!

This was our first visit to Spanish Wells and Coco Plum was the perfect retreat for our 5 member family (3 kids ages 8 - 12). The house is wonderful and well stocked. With a rented golf cart, we had quick access to every part of the island and appreciated being able to load up beach chairs and towels to head to the beautiful northern beach. Internet was solid and we spent a lot of time on the spacious and private porch. Laura provided great information for arrival planning and Carolyn was very generous to meet us at the dock to show us the way to the house. She was also responsive to any questions we had during the week. Carolyn also makes a really great loaf of banana bread, but don't let her know I told you that.

My husband, daughter (23) and son (19) stayed at Cocoplum and it was the PERFECT vacation home! The owner was was helpful and quick to communicate and the caretakers on the island, Jerrod and Carolyn were amazing. Carolyn met us at the dock, took us to the home and showed us around the home. Jerrod kept us stocked with drinking water. We never needed them, because the house is so well stocked but I feel if we did need anything, they would be quick to respond. The house is beautiful and modern while still feeling like a classic island home. There were only four of us, but I feel like this house had plenty of room and would be comfortable with even more people. This home is close to everything, but still private with an amazing, tropical yard. We rented a golf cart but also used the 2 bikes that came with the house. They were so fun. Spanish Wells is an amazing island with beautiful beaches, friendly people and great restaurants. We can’t wait to come back and stay at Cocoplum! Thank you!

I have traveled all over the world for both work and pleasure and my stay at Cocoplum and Spanish Wells was definitely one of the (if not 'the') top spots I have ever stayed at or visited....and the competition is pretty stiff including places like Maui, Dingle Ireland, US Virgin Islands and Israel. The house is exactly what you see in the pictures. It is not only decorated gorgeously and tastefully but it is also extremely comfortable. I half expected to discover that I had accidentally walked onto one of those television decorating shows just as they are doing 'the big reveal' to some delighted couple...except no television cameras (but my wife and I got to be the delighted couple!). The house is very conveniently located a very short walk or cart ride to the beach, grocery store, bakery, liquor store, restaurant. We spent most of our time either walking on the beach or enjoying the elevated deck. The house is situated to that there seems to be a gentle breeze almost continually. What makes Cocoplum a 'winner' is not just the house but Spanish Wells. If you want nightlife, bars, shopping, etc., then you will not be happy in Spanish Wells. However, if it is total relaxation, the Spanish Wells in the spot. The people are very friendly, polite and always willing to help with advice or directions if needed (nobody is hawking jewelry on the beach or pushing to buy condos. There is no crime on Spanish Wells. I think most people don't bother to lock their doors and most of the golf carts I saw, all had the keys left in them. When we walked on the beach (2.5 miles) we would typically see 4 or 5 people in total. My only regret is that I was not able to stay more than a week. The good news is that week was equivalent to about 3 'relaxation weeks' anywhere else I have vacationed. We will definitely be back.

My family of five, including three young adult daughters, all loved Cocoplum. The furnishings were comfortable and clean and had a contemporary, beachy vibe. What you see in the photos is utterly accurate. We loved being in the middle of a village (called “settlements” in Bahamas) with friendly neighbours, yet we never felt like anyone was too close, either. It was utterly quiet with only the sound of locals’ golf carts zipping nearby, the neighbour’s adorable goat bleating and hens clucking. Hens and roosters are all over the islands! It was nice to imagine that we were actually part of this community and that we didn’t have to return to the jarring noises and smells of the city we live in. Oh! And the air! Each morning I would step out onto the front covered porch and be amazed at the clarity of the air! It is so clean there. What a way to wake up; with a cup of coffee in your hands and to smell that clean, fresh air. The big grocery store in town is called Food Fair and was, I believe, renovated within this past year and is a bright and cheerful store. It is incredibly well stocked with fresh produce, dairy items, a variety of meats and packaged foods as well as a very good supply and variety of toiletry items and all other goods necessary for living in a house for a week or more. This store is easily within walking distance or a quick jaunt in your golf cart, if you choose to rent one. This house does not come with a cart, so be aware of that. We just discovered on our last full day on Spanish Wells that the nearest bar/restaurant, “Wreckers”, which is a ten minute walk away, and on the water, serves Starbucks coffee. Nice place to sit and enjoy a coffee or tea in a modern, clean, al fresco atmosphere. They also serve a very nice dinner and the staff are lovely and professional. That was a nice find. I also cannot say enough about Carolyn and Jarrod, the caretakers of Cocoplum. They live just around the corner and were so helpful to us, even picking us up at the dock on Christmas Eve and then even coming over Christmas evening because the gas tank had emptied for the gas range and we needed to cook our dinner. We were loath to disturb them on Christmas Day but had no choice. They were incredibly gracious. If we ever return to Spanish Wells, we will not hesitate to rent this house again. So beautiful!

Cocoplum is a large and well-furnished home sitting on a lush palm and flower-filled property in a residential area close to the island’s main attractions. Carolyn, the manager, met us at the dock and remained in contact in case we needed anything. The charm of island life sometimes includes the sounds of roosters crowing, and dogs barking. This woke us up from 3-4 am daily. With windows closed and earplugs we still could hear the rooster next door. This was the only downside. The covered porch is great for reading and relaxing after a day on the beach. The kitchen is thoughtfully outfitted and bathrooms had plenty of towels.
