With 2 king beds, this excellent cottage provides a comfortable and wonderful stay for guests. Take advantage of the amenities available, including a hair dryer, WiFi, iron, AC, and a washing machine. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with showers and hair dryers for your convenience. Fall in love with Spanish Wells and enjoy the magic it has to offer.
Rest Ashore is Brand New ! Only 190 steps (a minute walk )away from our beautiful 2 mile ,white sandy beach with a set of water swings ! ASK ABOUT OUR AMAZING BOAT EXCURSIONS WITH TYMAN CHARTERS! Rain water runs through the entire house no salty water. The house is two bedroom two bath, Sleeps six people. It comes with wi fi , smart tvs .The House also comes with a FREE 4 Seater Golf Cart for your convenience, 2kayaks and a paddle board so you can explore and enjoy the relaxed island life! Come and visit our little piece of Heaven! We would love to have you as our guest and I’m sure you will enjoy this cottage in Paradise! Most of all ask about our Charter Boat excursions, Tymanfishing charters and adventures! Your day out on the water with us and touring the surrounding islands I’m sure will be your best days of your vacation! Here is a list of some of the excursions ! swimming pigs, sand dollar beach, swim with the turtles and feed them, water swings , snorkeling the amazing reef, lobster spearing, fishing, touring, shelling, sea glass, cliff jumping, fun tubing, rope swing, bridge jumping, Island excursions, etc. Book your adventures today!

Island Description
Spanish Wells is very safe island. The island has a beautiful 2 mile long white beach on the north side of the island. Short walk to shopping and dining. Lobster fishing is the main industry on the island. You will find three churches on the island and 4 bars. It is a peaceful place to get away from city life and enjoy island living.
f you like any kind of fishing ,Adventuring or just relaxing at the beach soaking up the sun and the sea this is the place to come!

Transportation
The island is easy to get to with daily air service to North Eleuthera from Ft. Lauderdale, Miami or Nassau, Bahamas airports. Flight time is approx. 1 hour. The airport is serviced by continental express turbo(silver air) prop service with 19 and 30 passenger aircraft, and American Eagle . After you arrive at North Eleuthera Airport , no more worries!We will arrange your transportation! Davids taxi service will be at North Eleuthera airport to pick you up and bring you to the ferry for $25 and the ferry ride to Spanish Wells is $5 per person. Total time for Davids Taxi and a water taxi is 25 minutes. We will meet you guys at the dock and carry you to the cottage!. A great place for relaxing and enjoying the Bahamas! You will love it here!

Other Activities: Island Hopping,, Basket ball court, shopping, Kayaking, or simply relaxing at the beautiful beach! with a set of water swings

Rest Ashore exceeded all of our expectations!!! The perfect location, and the perfect host!!! April and Brandi were extremely responsive and accomodating. Captain Rubin with TyMan Charters also made ALL our dreams come true. We could not have had a better experience. We won the lottery with Rest Ashore!!! Just book it!

Not only did the house look like it was featured in "House Beautiful" but the property owners were incredibly responsive and thought of everything! Brandi picked us up at the water taxi and gave us a complete tour of the island with helpful tips and tricks. The gas grill was out of gas, and the owners replaced it within the hour of us calling. The place was charming, spotless, comfortable and beautiful. Loved the golf cart too! Highly recommend!!

Tyson and April were great to deal with on everything from travel questions to day to day questions. Very quick responses every time. Rest Ashore was perfect for our stay. Proximity to the amazing beaches was great for the back and fourth on the golf cart. Having the golf cart to explore the island is a huge benefit that comes with the house. We had a great time on the kayaks that are also provided along with everything else needed for a spectacular beach day! The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped.

The house was everything we hoped for. Decorated so nice with everything we needed for the week including a golf cart. The bedrooms were spacious & very comfortable beds. There was a washer & dryer in the back with beach towels & a few floats for the kids. If we needed anything our hosts were a phone call away. We were just steps away from the beach. Highly recommend

Perfect family vacation!

We had an amazing vacation at Rest Ashore! Booking and communication with the owner was great! The house is in a great location steps from a beautiful beach and gorgeous sunrise! We booked a boat tour with our owner that was so much fun! The house had everything we needed! It included a stand up paddle board and kayaks and golf cart. If there is anything I would improve upon is the kitchen supplies. It included the basics which was more than fine, but if you needed anything special you may want to inquire. The beds were comfortable. We had a great stay and can’t wait to return again!!

One of the best VRBO stays we’ve ever had

My family (my husband and I and our 4 large boys ages 12, 14, 15, 18) visited Spanish Wells for the first time and this house was perfect for us. Rest Ashore is a cute, very clean house in a great neighborhood. It had all the amenities we could’ve possibly needed. It was comfortable and slept all 6 of us very well. Location could not have been better, just steps away from the most peaceful beach we’ve ever been to. Communication with April was outstanding. She is very responsive and helpful getting us to and from the island as this was our first time here. She even arranged transportation to and from the airport with the land taxi. Brandi is the property manager who was also super helpful picking us up from the ferry to take us to our house. She showed us the town on the way and she was also very responsive. Great communication!!I couldn’t give the house, owner or manager a better rating. 10 stars!! We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway

From the questions I had prior to booking, the arrival, to checking on us throughout the trip, and the departure process April was TOP NOTCH! I have never stayed at a vbro so clean and with every detail taken care starting from when we stepped off the plane! April had all taxi’s arranged and quick guide around town as well as the house. Every detail was taken care of and there wasn’t anything we needed. Our Bahamas trip was everything I expected and more!! 10 out of 10 would stay there again or at any property April owns!

Exceptional property and service

We stayed at Rest Ashore in Spanish Wells for four nights in early April. The property was pristine and the service from April was exceptional. Two couples had plenty of privacy and room to move around. The beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. The kitchen is well stocked for those that want to cook on vacation. Beach towels, chairs and an umbrella were provided, along with water toys. The property is a very short walk to an amazing beach. We enjoyed our nights cooking on the grill and relaxing on the back patio. The golf cart was well cared for and accommodated four adults traveling about the island. There has been such care in decorating the house and making it inviting for guests. April is so responsive and helpful introducing us to the treasure that is Spanish Wells. She assisted with transportation, making our travel seamless. Brandi also checked in with us and gave us tips on local attractions and activities. Spanish Wells is heaven on earth, and working with April and her team was a true blessing. We’ll be back for a much longer stay! I enthusiastically recommend this property and team! .

Rest Ashore..... you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! This beach house was nothing short of perfect. It was spotless—truly one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. The decor was beautiful, thoughtful, and made us feel instantly at home. Every single detail was perfectly curated.The location? Unbeatable. Just steps from the beach. But what really made this trip unforgettable was the hospitality. Our host, April went above and beyond—transportation was completely taken care of and scheduled for us, making the trip totally stress-free. The golf cart that was provided had a flat tire and April had someone come to the house and change it within 5 min. The house was stocked with every possible item we could have needed - beach chairs, beach towels and floats all provided. The locals were incredibly friendly, adding a whole new layer of warmth to the experience. From start to finish, this trip was magical. We truly didn’t want to leave. If you’re thinking of booking—do it. You won’t regret it. This place is a gem, and we’re already dreaming about coming back!

Feels Like Home!

Rest Ashore is a wonderful place. Located in a perfect spot just down the street from the beach. There is a city park at the end of the street, maybe 90 steps from the house. It’s extremely well-appointed and has everything you need for your vacation. We never thought “oh it would be nice to have this or that”..it was all there. Communication was a breeze if we had any questions about the island. Bedrooms were large, and the beds were very comfortable. Both bathrooms were good size and stocked with plenty of towels. They provided beach towels,and beach chairs. Kitchen was a great setup and had all the dishes, pots, pans, basically everything you need for a kitchen. We even used a little cooler provided by the Host when we went to the beach everyday. Wonderful front porch with rockers that we sat in every morning and talked with the residents when they walked by. Nice back porch with plenty of seating and a gas grill if you wanted to cook the catch of the day at home! The home is brand new and was styled really well. Sometimes you get to a place and it’s decorated sort of haphazardly, but not Rest Ashore, it’s so cute with its island inspired theme. Lots of artwork/crafts that were made locally. The addition of the golf cart was a huge bonus and we used it daily to zip around the island. Check in/out was a breeze. I would 100% recommend Rest Ashore to anyone. It was prefect for us, and with king beds in each bedroom would be perfect for two couples traveling together.

Our experience at Rest Ashore couldn't have been any better. What a beautiful home in a stunning location, steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The property was so clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The golf cart was a great touch and made getting around the island a breeze. Our hosts were fantastic and always available. Terrific recommendations for things to do on the island... and the boat trip with TyMan was true perfection. We loved Spanish Wells and all of its friendly people. My only complaint is that we didn't book this place for longer!

We loved this house and the location. You are walking distance to amazing beaches and the house provided a lot of needed items. Having the golf cart with the house was top notch, much needed for getting around. The prices on food items are high, so if you’re budgeting, keep that in mind.the house had plenty of towels and beach towels to use which was nice so you don’t have to pack them. April was very organized with having someone at the airport ready to pick us up and then someone to pick us up at the ferry dock to bring us to the house and same when we left. That was a extra service that was very appreciated! I would say the only con was we really wanted to do some kayaking since this was our kids first time seeing clear water, but the kayaks that came with the house weren’t in the best of shape and one was only a one person and was leaking. I wouldn’t even put that in the house description unless they are useable items and enough for the people renting. There are places to rent so that is an option. We had the best time and if we’re ever able to make it back to that area, I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. From Brandi picking us up at the dock to take us to the house to April replacing the golf cart flat tire within an hour and we were back in business. We also enjoyed a half day on Tyman Charters. Got along great with the captain.

The house was perfect. It was clean, with an amazing location, perfect outside area. We cooked at home some nights and found everything that we needed in the house (pots, pans, utensils, oil, some spices). The golf cart being included in the rental was a game changer. April arranged our transport to and from the airport and was available for questions and booking different things we wanted to do. We will definitely be back to rest ashore , as it surpassed our expectations
